first of all I agree that the music in this anime is amazing, like,,, Not just the opening, also the ending, and how they included eros and agape and dkdvjhjgdjhku I'm gonna write the rest in a spoiler just in case I spoil anything for anyone can we please actually talk about viktor and yuuri's relationship for a moment Since the first episode viktor's character developed so much and I didn't think he would be this supportive and open. He really is the greatest coach yuuri could possibly have. (like "when I open up, he meets me where I am" I'm??? omg???) Even if it's platonic they definitely have a strong bond and it makes me happy! (though... "I know who I'm dancing for" and the whistle. the whistle. also "that's my way of showing my love" ") But now I wanna talk about Yuri (ye Russian Yuri) tbh because he is my precious son First of all I think that his choreography in episode 4 is much better than Japanese Yuuri's honestly I also feel very bad for him for some reason??? Like the person who he admired so much and promised that he would coach him just suddenly left for Japan to teach a random skater who failed hard And when he was so sure that he could win against Yuuri and have Viktor coach him he lost because he actually looked at viktor's face and saw how he was watching yuuriBut he just peacefully left?? No drama no anger just... Pure baby ;___; I also feel bad for what he had to go through with yulia I mean she was super strict and it makes me kinda angry but I guess it helped him a little so idk :/ (yes this is rly long o o p s) this is gonna be a huge spoiler for everyone so just go w a t c h t h e s h o w p.s. the music is GREAT and so are the opening and ending. the animation is also reallllly good at some points, so you really have nothing to lose YES!!!! victor and yuri already have one of the healthiest relationships i've ever seen over four episodes, it's absolutely wild. even if they DON'T make it a canon romance, they're still so good for one another (although i personally don't see how they could do anything but canonize it at this point, if they back out, at least we can have that) and it makes me so happy!!!
victor has had a good amount of development for the episodes we've had so far, but the two yuris have honestly come so far already? like, in episode one we had yurio yelling at crying yuri to retire in a bathroom and now they've both grown to train so hard and are preparing for the big match at the end of the season??? like i'm SO READY FOR MORE OF BOTH OF THEM???
yurio is gonna have a good arc, i can tell. his transformation into a prima ballerina is something i'm really excited about, since it finally feels like he's going to get a big backstory that he can address.
tbh though, i relate incredibly hard to yuri, because i too am around that age, deal with thoughts of anxiety, doubt my choices all the time, and am still coming into my own skin, (he even looks a little like me lol) and so to be able to cheer him on and see someone like me succeed is honestly so good? ESPECIALLY when they're having him enter into this very close relationship with another guy, it's honestly something i feel blessed to be watching

Go watch it guys you won't regret it tbh I agree, I can definitely relate to Yuuri as well, as I am overly anxious about p much every mistake that I make. This makes me understand how brave and dedicated he is! He's overcoming his fears and that's great, and when he realizes that he is not alone in this world and he has people supporting him and he isn't weak... I think everyone should reach this point in their lives. This show is incredible.
I also really hipe that we will see more information about Yuri and Viktor's past! (I'm really curious about what happened to Yuri's mother and how can he possibly fly to Japan by himself when he is 15 lmao)

nick I'm reviving this because episode 6 of yuri on ice CAN WE TALK ABOUT YUURI'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT mainly thanks to viktor, the guy learnt that he has his own charm and he needs to skate for himself, not for others. but I want to point out what I found as the most important part of this episode. yuuri saw that everyone is jealous or not pleased with viktor quitting the season to become his coach. they feel as if yuuri stole viktor to himself, and he quickly discovers that. but he goes lol viktor really is mine and I am worthy of this let me prove to all of you why I am the only one who can satisfy viktor and with so much confidence he NAILS ALL OF HIS JUMPS FOR THE FIRST TIME viktor is of course proud as fuck and his score? it is INSANELY high, in comparison to ice skating tournaments irl *casually ignores chris making himself aroused during his performance* also, it has been confirmed that they speak in english I'm not confused anymore

LISTEN UP FOR A SEC
CHRISTOPHE MOTHERFUCKIN GIACOMETTI
IS GONNA BE THE END OF ME THIS BOI AAAHHHHHHHHHHH
i cannot ignore him, he was my favorite based on character design, and now that he's this nympho crazy man with a competitive streak, i love him for all the wrong reasons omfg this is so much
YUURI'S DEVELOPMENT HITS ME IN THE FEELS
i'm SO proud of him too, it's so incredible how far he's come so fast. i've never wanted a character to succeed more, and every time he skates, i get nervous that something will happen but it hasn't... yet
and I REALLY hope that nothing tragic happens, because no one in this cast deserves that and we DEFINITELY don't need angst from a show that's already got a substantial amount written into the subtext
there was just so much that happened, i need to watch the episode again, tbh

Never in my life have I ever watched an anime that I loved during the first few episodes, only to suddenly feel a sudden depressing state inside of me that makes me not want to recommend it to anyone.
I was curious over what Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu had to offer, and I got kinda confused at the first few episodes, but only after that I caught up with everything and actually started to really like the anime. I love several characters in this anime, as a lot of them has a huge part of the whole plot of the anime.
But the thing is... Every episode, mostly in the end, will make you go, one way or another, "What the actual hell is going on". With each episode coming, you get things thrown at you that will just leave you with three simple questions. What. How. And Why.
I'm only around 8 episodes left until I finish the whole anime, and I already get an eerie feeling in my stomach. I get a horrible feeling that this anime could easily bring a "bad ending" to the viewers, and I am not a person who can easily get over stuff when it comes to bad ending. But still, the things that the anime has brought upon me during my watching has made me curious over how this will end.
Hopefully this wasn't a major spoiler to the anime, but I'd still suggest you guys to try out this anime. It got the curiosity factor, many lovable characters, really nice plot and much more.
