Hi! I'm involved in contests around the internet (Facebook, Youtube, independent sites, and here) and I just started my own contest. Now, I'm trying to pull players from all corners of the Eurovision fandom to create the most diverse contest possible and I would love to get some forum people involved. This is the site and I'd love for you to play here. Our first edition will have songs from the Americas plus five randomly chosen European countries. However, the countries will be randomly allocated to you, so be ready for anything!
Here are the rules.

Here are the rules.
Songs
- Every entry MUST follow the requirement for its edition. For example, if the edition being held requires that every song must be a cover of another song, there will be no exceptions unless approved by the moderator.
- Past Eurovision and national final artists are allowed, but their songs entered in those contests are not, unless the edition’s requirement allows it.
- You cannot send any version of a song that has been entered in a previous edition of Fête de la Chanson or the Eurovision Times Song Contest (our sister contest that's unaffiliated with us), unless the edition’s requirement allows it.
Artists
- Borrowing artists from other countries will only be allowed if your selections meets certain criteria:
- The artist spent at least 10 years living in the country they will represent.
- If they participated in Eurovision or a national final, their song for either event is ineligible, regardless of the edition’s requirement.
- The artist cannot inherit eligibility from their parent(s).
- The artist spent at least 10 years living in the country they will represent.
- You’re trusted to check your selection against these rules. If the moderator checks and finds that you’ve violated one of the rules, you’ll have one chance to change your selection, otherwise you’ll be banned from that edition.
Voting and Results
- Votes will be collected with a form for each edition. In the article opening the voting period, a link will be provided for the voting form.
- Ties will be broken according to official EBU rules.
- If you win, you’re required to send the moderator the details (host city, hosts, and venue) for the next edition.
- If you do not vote in the contest, you’ll be banned for one edition, unless you give the moderator prior notification via e-mail.
Cheating
- If you’re found to be cheating in any way, your IP will be banned for the length of one edition.
- Cheating entails having two songs in one edition, voting for another player, manipulating another player, or publicly revealing your votes before the results have been announced.
- Other infractions will be dealt with at the moderator’s discretion.
Organization
- There will be a limit of 26 finalists. If the number of participants exceeds that, then semifinals will be organized.
- For editions with semifinals, the previous winning player will automatically qualify for the final.
- The number of qualifiers in each semifinal will be the closest to half of the total number of qualifiers. For example, if there are 27 participants, each semifinal would have 13 songs and seven qualifiers, creating a final with 15 songs.
- For editions with semifinals, the previous winning player will automatically qualify for the final.
- There will be a limit of 49 participants (2 semi-finals, 24 countries in each, 1 automatic finalist) in each edition.
