^ I said that also once. However there is also the downside (?) that these people who not allowed to participate next time maybe won't come back. That means now if everyone would behave that way there'd be only about 25-30 people (which is about the same as in the 2nd edition and would be a bit "poor").

I think about removing it, but ofc again it's like a block if they don't vote, so they must wait. So it will stay at least for now.

And I thought we'll FINALLY close the voting here tonight, but still 3 days have to wait... How long this edition already goes? I mean, if you let people be too lazy, then they won't become industrious. That's what we (teachers) are told not to let happen in school, because if you retreat from your rules (or standarts) once, then don't ever hope that next time everyone will complete them as you wish - they'll keep blaming you for letting it happen once, so you won't have a choice and you'll have to do it again... no offence ofc, but just a suggestion Of course, I understand you and it's not fair to the likes of you and Florian, Fabbi, Laurinda and all the others who voted in time.. I guess this is a tradition since the 7th edition sadly. And some of our players are a bit lazy to not vote (Ofc no offense to anyone but you know yourself.) and happens nearly every edition (#13 was a slight exception).. I am starting to think from #15 to just do your suggestion, see how everyone thinks about that, as yes I do find it unfair to the early voters to be held back. And of course, a main reason to wait is the rule we have that if someone doesn't vote in grand final, they won't take part in the next edition, and I don't want to lose a huge volume of participants for the next edition, but something has to give. It's always like that with me But I do think we will tighten up voting and stick to the deadline.. even if there's 4 finalists left It will quicken up the game and show them to vote a bit earlier Not trying to be evil! That would be nice. Next time just set a deadline and don't change it. Those who'll want to vote, will do it whatever happens (or at least spend 5 minutes to send you a reason for not-voting), because that's their choice if they want to vote (and receive a good result) or not Even the busiest people can find a moment to do what they think is important to do in time

I can imagine the winner to be: Mexico, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Slovakia, South Korea, UK, Macedonia and Slovenia. However by adding the usual things for our winners only Slovakia, UK and Belgium remain.

I just found out that the Austrian entry is a love song. Or kind of at least.

LAST CHANCE TO VOTE!! Today is the deadline. If you want to take part in #15 or avoid a disqualification in the grand final, you have a chance to send your votes until midnight. All left to vote: Tunisia Norway Macedonia Netherlands Turkey ( Kerem) Unless you have a valid reason why you can't vote, not voting means you can't take part next edition..

Guys should I close the voting now? The deadline was meant for last night but I gave a ''second chance'' to vote all day.. but it seems that my reminders are not doing much help If I close the voting the ONLY thing is that 3 finalists will be disqualified. (Yet, it doesn't fully tamper with the results) Or I could just wait until 23:00 CET but then again I don't know if it makes a difference

Well that's unfortunate ... but since they don't seem to vote even after extended deadline ... I understand we are all human and we might forget, but the bus doesn't wait. When it's over is over. They and we should face the consequence. My opinion anyway. But you are the host and no matter what your final decision is I support you with it

I fully agree with the above member. However imo you should extend it until midnight - it doesn't make a huge difference but it's more ... "serious" than just closing it at a random time.
