Hello! I just wanted to share some thoughts with you, and I would like if you would share your opinion too So, as you see, in this edition we have very strong SF2 and less strong SF1. This happened because of random allocation draw. Now, it's possible that some songs from SF2, which are worth qualifying, won't qualify just because there are too much good songs, while some songs from SF1, that are not so worth the final as some of SF2 non-qualifiers are, will qualify just because their semi-final is less strong.
My idea is that semi-final allocation draw shouldn't be random and both semi-finals should be equally strong. Share your thoughts!
I totally agree with u on that I think both semis should be equally strong

We can make sneak peaks and after that do semi finals.

I understand your point, but I think that's the thrill with allocation draw. I mean, it could be better if we had two equally strong semi-finals, but it wouldn't be fair if they weren't set randomly, and I can't think of any idea to do it without spoiling the results so... I guess I prefer current way

The problem with that is that music taste is subjective. One's "paradise semi-final" could be another's nightmare. I think it would highly be unfair if the two semi finals were split based on the opinion of someone who may have a different music taste to many others. I understand your frustrating at some of your favourite songs not qualifying, but the draw is random for a reason, to allow fair process, an equal chance and no preferential treatment of any one country due to it being song or player. I don't think you will do that but I personally am very against this idea and am all for the current system, which in my opinion, is a lot more fair and just. So what if "better songs" turn up in SF2? It was the luck (or the unluckiness) of the draw...

I don't agree with you. I think both semi finals are equally strong. So I don't think you need to change anything.

Thanks for sharing your opinion! I think it (the system) should be left as it is

I think anything but random is unfair personally
