The Rambo Amadeus Award for the song that was written while drunk goes to... Knucklebone Oscar & The Shangri-La Rubies with their song "Caveman"! "Caveman" was one of the songs that stood out in UMK, mostly because of the weirdness of the whole song. The lyrics wasn't perfect either, including stuff like "I got no Mickey Mouse pyjama pants", "I have my moving, I have my swag", "Show for the television, dinner for the family, this is the fried chicken, this is the DNA", and also including a rambling of words, as well as the german words "Wunderbar" being used. They, unfortunately, finished last in their selection, but at least they won this special awards (which might not be that special if you think about it).
We'd also like to congratulate the runner ups:
Vidas & Ieva with "I Love My Phone"! Singing about how their phone is their most important piece of everyday material.
and our third place:
Payushchie Trusy with "Singing Pants"! Which is sung about, I don't know, Singing Pants, as well as how stuff like the weather, as they say in the song, SUCKS!
FULL RESULTS
Next category, as well as poll, is to be either posted before midnight, or tomorrow!

Sorry for the huge delay with the Awards.I kinda of ran out of good categories to use (It's hard finding categories for national selections, and especially since most of them didn't end yet back then),but as everything is complete, and we're only waiting for Armenia, I'll start focusing on this thread once again! The Barbara Dex Award was invented after a former Belgian representative, Barbara Dex, after she made her own dress for the 1993 Eurovision final, and boy was that dress hideous.Speaking of dresses (hideous or not), Singers today still come up with costumes that they try to fit to the song, or just costumes that they feel most comfortable with, and sometimes, they do wind up with something that just barely missed the Halloween season.Rambo Amadeus Award for the best Halloween costume: Lolita Zero (Devil) Sada Vidoo (Disco Ball-themed Doll) Markus Riva (Plumber) Roger Pontare (Gandalf) Elin Kåven (Deer) Roma Soul (some sort of Modern Art painting)(As not many people watch the selections)Picture of the nominated artists:

The Rambo Amadeus Award for the best Halloween costume goes to... Lolita Zero and her classy Devil costume!Despite not being a huge jury favourite, Lolita Zero still managed to swoop a lot of votes with the televoting. Motive? Probably because of the song (or because of those melon smashes during the end of the song), but probably also because of the top-notch Devil costume that she delivered through out of the song! Who can forget that beautiful golden dress, as well as those wonderful long red horns, which also sparkles. And what other feature does those horns have?INBUILT FIREWORK SPARKLERS! Prom Queen? Probably. But a Halloween Queen? Definitely a 100% YES!We'd also like to congratulate our runner up:
flagdemark Sada Vidoo and her one-and-only-made Disco Ball Doll costume!
As well as our tied third place:
Roger Pontare and Roma Soul, who, despite being far behind, still managed to get a few peoples attentions to get voted in here! FULL RESULTS

Many of us know how most of the songs today usually are about love, and other themes like that, and how tiring it is to see the same theme of songs over and over again. To make things worse, we already got three of these this year, with the word "Love" in the title ( hi) As some artists gets tired of using the same theme all over again, they decide to either use the same theme, but in a different way, or just do something completely new. Some even tried to think outside the Earth, and just tries to hide a safe sex message behind a atmospheric theme, trying to be a bit different... ...Except they still don't make much of a difference, when some other artists pretty much had the same idea as them with the atmospheric theme. Rambo Amadeus Award for the better space-themed entry: Lindita Halimi - "World" Hovig - "Gravity" Slavko Kalezic - "Space" Timebelle - "Apollo"
