Hello everyone, here I'm going to explain' my idea' for round #40 Name: The 'lotery of luck' or 'The wheel of fortune Edition'!so let's get started!... First of all this is a round when luck has a part. origionality, creativity and diversity of songs in edition #40 is also going to be stimulated! 1. we have 28 participants(it could be more maybe) 2. we have 28 spaces on the wheel of fortune or 28 lottery tickets. you can choose between the numbers 1 till 28 3. on each ticket or on a space on the wheel you can find two things(wich I later explain!) for example it could be a gender male/female or band, or period which the song is published in it's own country and more things but I will explain later in a very easy table! 4. when you choose a number 1 till 28 you must choose a song that contains that specific criteria! - BTW! you can ask a number from Laurinda. If a number is chosen, no other contestant can choose that number anymore! - I will make all possible combinations and give it to laurinda, she will randomly add a number to each combination 5. every contestent will get tested with his flexibility, creativity, orgionality at this way! for me it seems fun! and you never know what you get! oke! here is the table with thing you can get at your ticket or space on the wheel of luck:
keep in mind!: you only get one option of a category! and only two options are on your ticket or place on the wheel of fortune
Category1:The artistdifferent options you can get: male/female/band Category2:time perioddifferent options you can get: 90's or newer(till 2007)/older then 90's Category 3: language options:language which is most the most popular in the country/english one note: unfortunately I don't know what to do with USA OR UK IF THEY GET ONE OF BOTH OPTIONS) MAYBE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME?! SOLVED!Category 4: DECLINED! popularity of the video you send inoptions: not popular(1 view-5.000 views)/ common(5.000 views- 50.000 views)/ popular(50.000views-100.000views)/ very popular 100.000-400.000) worldwide hit(400.000 and higher) - this option we can discuss about the amount of views, but I had to start somewhere - for the ones who had exactly for example 5000 views it will be counted as a higher category. Your total of views will be locked when Laurinda has seen the views and if she had confirmd if you're entry has the right criteria. - for the ones who are smart and make there own uploud video of the song on youtube, unfurtunately that doesnt count lol Instead of option 4: popularity:
difference in tempo balladBallad / Slow: 50 to 85 BPM Mid-Tempo: 90-105 BPM Up-Tempo: 110-125 BPM The BPM You can check it with a specific app on mobile we can discuss about other catogories for sure, I hope you all like the idea and will not turn it down so quickly. because I really did my best to make something special for you all! hope the most of you will like it<3 and BTW I will ask a (mathematic expert) roommate to make all possible combinations for the number 1- 28(or more) where you can choose frombye!

Sounds interesting. And less complicated than it does in the first moment.

Song popularity is out of question... it alone makes it hard to find songs, let alone if it has to be specific gender, year or language... maybe I completely misunderstood all the rules, but that's how it looks for me now...

Sorry. I've got nothing. I'll be down with any winning idea. Also, I might not even be able to participate due to quick confirmations going on recently.

Well it's a difficult suggestion to do tbh., but much less when you understood it. Oh and also your text's really long. Everything like that I consider as a complicated something.

and I forgot to tell an amazing 5th catogory for my idea for roudnd #40 and that is: difference in tempo balladBallad / Slow: 50 to 85 BPM Mid-Tempo: 90-105 BPM Up-Tempo: 110-125 BPM I Have found an app who can really perfect hear the BPM In a song! I have an android and the app is: BPM detector. I have allready tested it! and it was correct I found exactly the same BPM that the song really had BTW if you all think that the popularity/views of the song are not important we can also skip that one It was only an idea, I had to start from somewhere
