Cool Turkish names for these countries. What's the Turkish name for the Philippines? Anyway, your votes are acknowledged! Thanks! Phlippines = Filipinler Very Turkish indeed! I just found out that we call your country Turkiya but as my reply to Christian, we don't use it much anymore.

Yeah by writing, Danish words are very similar to English However, I'm confused with å, æ, ø in your alphabet. I think å is closely pronounced as an English o, æ is closely pronounced as an English e and ø is closely pronounced as an English a. Am I correct? ;D

Æ or æ can sound like the English E, but in words like 'set', 'bet', 'get'. Æ is just sounds more raw when pronouncing it Ø or ø is nowhere near the English A ;D But rather sounding somewhere near the 'ear' in 'earn' Some uses Ö instead of Ø in neighbour countries or Turkey for example Å or å mainly has the sound of the English O, but not that 'uvv' sound at the end. Though you must know all those 3 letters (and rest of vocals) have different soundings in different words. But it's quite complicated to give all those sounds out when writing.

Now I'm learning Danish!
