and my new 1st The best in the NS by a clear mile, yet it isn't really that good of a song itself. It still has its admirable qualities though, and Kate is a great performer so woo

I feel like it's gonna take some time for me to have a stronger opinion on this song but if was one of the better ones, so I have no problem with it.

It's a from nme for now. Kate has a beautiful voice and I also like the instrumental. However I'm not a fan of the lyrics. And what bothers me the most is probably that "Ze-e-e-e-ero Gra-a-a-a-avity" part at the beginning if the chorus. And the last minute isn't even needed if it stays like that imo. But I must say, that it's memormable imo.

No doubt about it for me. I loved Kate M-H like a decade ago, so I'm ecstatic that she won

I would be shocked, if this song wont be my last place of Eurovision 2019.

Not bad, but this has only two options in Eurovision in my opinion: Top 5 because people really like it and enjoy the style or crashing and burning in the semi-final because casual Eurovision viewers and people who hear this for the first time in Tel Aviv don't get it. Unfortunately the latter seems to be the likelier one because you kind of need more than one listen to really enjoy and appreciate the song.

She will definitely do well. This sounds like a winning Eurovision song anyway. L'Australie Douze Points!

mainly because it's different and on the riskier end of entries. I can't compel myself to rate it higher as most of the song is irritating. However, the "Ze-e-e-e-e-ro Gra-a-a-a-a-a-vity" and "Nothing holding me down" parts are earworming me to no end at the moment. Overall, I have mixed feelings.

---------------------------------------------------------------------- ▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼ 12 // Amazing----------------------------------------------------------------------For a first-time national selection for Australia, I've got to give it to them. They sure got some wonderful entries and interval acts (even though there may have been 1-2 to much). And what an absolute ending, my top 2 finished top 2 all together. I still feel sadness for Electric Fields, as they were so close, and would have been excellent representatives, but my other favourite won it all, so fuck it, LET'S CELEBRATE!I had a bit of a tough time getting into this song at first, but when paid closer attention, each puzzle piece started connecting, and I just started loving it more and more.Listening to this for a first time will give the listener a bunch of surprises and unpredictable add-ons and instrumentation, and I say this in a positive way.The opera alone makes me adore this, as I always adore opera as a style in songs lmao, but I cannot deny how much I adore the way she sings the song with the opera style. Many might find the "Ze-e-e-e-e-e-ero, Gr-a-a-a-a-avity" part really annoying, but this keeps earworming me every time, and I can't help but sing along to it, it's that captivating.I also adore the build-up the first two minutes has, and absolutely L O V E the royalty sound that the last minute has, topped with the trumpets, operatic voice, choir, everything. The long dress skitch might be kinda overused at this point, but at the same time, the dancer in the background was a neat touch to the performance as a whole.
I would have probably loved the long dress to be cut, and instead have something that could look more royal-ish, but besides that, the performance still fit. Eitherway, I love this song, and I can already assure that this will stay in my top 10 once all 42 songs are out.And I am not even gonna bring La forza into discussion, because comparing both songs because "opera" or "high dress" is just ridiculous and dumb, when no other act gets the same treatment. Will this qualify to the final? Plausible.I've already seen a flood of people say that this isn't qualifying, but let's be honest here, this song definitely has stand-out potential to make it into the Grand Finals from their semi. Many unpredictable movements in the song, a filled performance, it definitely has enough stuff going on to catch people's interest for this song. Alas, it's still early to be 100% certain about a final place, but then again, everyone saying it will NQ are on the same boat anyways. Overall? After a rather generic entry last year, Australia has definitely caught on to the Eurovision train. It has its uniqueness, quirkiness, and stand-out moments which can make this risk pay off. If Kate continues to shine like she did during the NF, I can definitely see a good 2019 for them. Hoping for best of luck to Kate Miller-Heidke and Australia through their Eurovision 2019 journey!
