I'm glad to see that people appreciated the new format of presenting the results. Thank you for your feedback!
Now, my thoughts on the results!
In cased you missed it in the video: the placements of
Jamaica and
Papua New Guinea were switched in the final scoreboard. Jamaica is 20th while PNG is 19th.
I don't think it deserved last place. It was a nice, mellow song.
Meh, not my cup of tew, but it's a good AQ song.
More like Turk
mehnistan. It's an average Turkmen song.
Her song in #30 was much better, but well done on getting the same artist to qualify two editions in a row.
I'm actually surprised this qualified. If a song had to place last, it should've been this.
This had potential to NQ from the semis, so like New Zealand, I was surprised it qualified.
Not the best Swedish entry. In fact, it's on the lower end of Sweden's entries, but still good enough for the final.
Thank you
for your
! I didn't think I'd get one considering it's Philippines. Also thanks to everyone else who gave points!
Definitely deserved to be in the final. This feels like the right placement for it though. I feel like USA in general can do better than this to be honest.
I really thought this could've been in the top 10. So underrated.
My
. It's just so catchy to me. It was stuck in my head all month. Also very underrated.
This is another good and underrated one. My
.
It's one of the better Israeli entries, one that actually deserves its spot in the final unlike some of your other entries in the past.
I thought this would've placed in the top half, so I'm a little surprised it performed below my expectations. My
.
My
. Just like Jamaica, this was also stuck in my head throughout the month.
I really like this a lot. Lithuania's place in the final was certainly deserved. 15th is a good place for it.
This was close to being in my top 10. I'm a fan of this new song by Alma. It's so different from her past songs, but I see why some don't like it.
Had it been in the top 10, I would've called it overrated since I think there are songs that deserve to place higher than this, so 13th is satisfactory. A bop btw.
A worthy host entry. Although this is Apo's last hurrah, he left NNMC with two wins as the UK. Excited to see who will be the successor. Whoever it will be, don't be a flop!
I consider this a basic rock song. There were better rock songs in the past that should've placed this high. But at least Italy is one of the more successful countries in this contest.
I personally thought this could've won. It's one of the better Kazakh entries. It was almost in my top 10.
I'm laughing at the fact people hated on this, but it's a surprise it placed 9th when it
narrowly qualified over Belgium from the semis. It was my
, so no problem I guess.
Overrated, I guess. It's an okay pop song. The best aspect of it is the daring title.
I am so surprised people received this song so well. It's not one of my personal favorites, but considering Hungary's history, I think it's one of the best Hungarian songs.
BOP!
I love how fast this song is. It definitely gets my energy up. My
. Well done on 6th place!
Great ballad. I love his voice, which makes the song a lot more endearing. There's some Teddy Adhitya fans in this forum. Well done on reaching the top 5.
Another song I thought could've won. It's nicely upbeat and really quirky. IC3PEAK has been growing on me ever since I disliked "Sad Bitch" in FC.
This was my
.
My
. Finland managing to place in the top 3 again on Maxim's last participation? Deserved placement. Vesala's music is a gem, and this is a good continuation of her discography. So what happens with Finland next edition now that it's playerless? We'll see.
An awesome Latin bop. It was my
.
The moment I heard the song, I knew I was going to love it, and I'm glad others did, too. Chile placing 2nd in such a great final is a remarkable feat. You should be proud!
The moment I saw Greg's post revealing "Give It" as Canada's entry, I knew it had the biggest shot to win. Betta Lemme is well-known in the forum, and "Give It" got a lot of hype among the forum members even before it was submitted for any contest. The post even got a huge amount of likes. It had a lot to lose, but it ended up winning predictably. What I did not see coming, however, was the 285 points. A new record! The previous record was 281 among over 60 countries. "Give It' got its score among less than 60 voters. Congratulations,
Gregory (inactive) ! You finally won!
Can't wait to see how Edition #32 will go. It's 28 days long, much shorter than the usual month.
