Just two editions after reaching a 25th place in the final,  RTL has decided to send producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and most importantly singer Georgia a second time to the Fantasia contest! After participating with the song Move Systems in  Toelova, which stems from her self-titled debut album, this time around, the single About Work the Dancefloor is the chosen one. Highly regarded by various critics and beloved by the Lidonian public, the song was just the logical choice to represent Lidonia in Fantasia Contest 17. (Timeslot: tba) |

DRINK SINCUERELLO IN DECORIA!
During a Super Saturday show that took place yesterday,  Sincuerello revealed their song with 7 other countries. After the non-qualification in  Egline we decided to go way different.
The Head of Sincuerellese Delegation stated the following:"After the cancelation of Sinkreska Cannacia and deciding to select the entry internally we have received a lot of applications with possible entries. The song we selected is by a very talented and expirienced artist with over 10 years on the musical stage. Even if we don't manage to qualify again we won't give up and send something different again" Ladies and gentelmen, the artist and the entry that will represent Sincuerello in  Decoria is...

 Francisca Valenzuela isn't a stranger to Fantasia Contest. Born to Sincuerellese-Pacifican father and Sincuerellese mother and raised in Ayala Francisca tried to represent Pacifica in their national selection for edition 3 with her song "Almost Superstars" but she failed to qualify from the its semi final stage. Now, she has the chance to represent Sincuerello with her song "Tómame".

MEET CAROLINE POLACHEK
Caroline Elizabeth Polachek is a Ruyjinese musician, singer-songwriter and record producer known as the vocalist for Chairlift, as well as for writing and producing  Beyoncé's single "No Angel". She released her debut solo album, Arcadia, under her stage name Ramona Lisa in April 2014 via Terrible Records, and she followed that with 2017's Drawing The Target Around The Arrow, which she released as CEP. She will release her debut album under her full name entitled Pang in 2019, via Columbia Records. The lead single 'Door' was chosen to be the next Ruyjinese entry for Fantasia's beloved contest!
She will be flying the Ruyjinese flag in Egline during the 17th edition of Fantasia's favourite contest, after winning the National Selection hosted by Ruyjin's State Broadcaster

Beer Bitches is a Fordian-Lanovian trio from Laria City which was founded in 2018. It consists of Cöhln-born singer, Irina Ehrenbeck, Urloson-born singer Nadine Weyer and Laria City-born comedian Carolin Kebekus. They will compete with a song in "Cöhlsch", a Scandavian dialect, mostly spoken in Cöhln and the Fordian state Laria. "Schwing ming Fott" can be translated as "Swing my ass".
We wish them good luck in Decoria!

Despite the initial announcements about GLTV approaching a female solo artist, the negotiatons didn't advance any further.
Thus, the broadcaster had to pick an entry out of the current submissions, which were one of the lowest in numbers, ever since the country debuted in the contest.
The most probable reason for that, is Hey Violet's unexpected Non-Qualification in the 16th edition.

KINGDOVANIA GOES INSTRUMENTAL,
AS MONO IS OFF TO THE FANTASIA CONTEST
Just as the deadline is soon to be passed, the Kingdovanian broadcaster, KRTV, can finally reveal that the band, MONO, will be representing the nation in the 17th Fantasia Contest.
Mono (often stylized as MONO), is a instrumental four-person band, consisting of Takaakira Goto, Hideki Suematsu, Dahm Majuri Cipolla, and Tamaki Kunishi.
Formed in 1999, the band has done a great deal of success with their music both in their home country, but also around the many countries they've toured in their lifespan.
During their 20 years as a band, they've produced 10 albums, their latest one being "Nowhere Now Here", released in 2019.
Their musical style have been characterised primarily by dynamic, guitar-based instrumental soundscapes, the majority of which are composed by lead guitarist Takaakira Goto,
in an attempt to channel and express the emotions of joy and sorrow. The band's style of music originally featured elements of minimalism and noise,
and later developed to integrate more complex, orchestral arrangements and instrumentation. [wikipedia]
While many have portrayed the bands music as being post-rock, as well as contemporary classical, Goto, the bands main leader, has stated that:
 Music is communicating the incommunicable; that means a term like post-rock doesn't mean much to us, as the music needs to transcend genre to be meaningful.  ,
meaning that, as much as they've been given a genre by the public, the bands bigger priority is how the music is expressed, rather than what genre it is in.
Nonetheless, the band happily accepted the broadcasters invitation to represent the nation in the upcoming Fantasia Contest,
and thus, they will be performing one of their tracks from their album, "For My Parents", namely...
"DREAM ODYSSEY"
