Why can't you hold me in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor?

3rd! Omg what just happened? I know that this song was quite a thing back then, but I really didn't expect to get a top 3! Thanks a lot for all your points - especially the I received (from Idk who, sorry ). Also I find this even more impressive since it's my best result in 31 editions. Amazing winner! How you do this tho...? And the predictable runner-up. Poor her tho for another 2nd place. Also my votes don't really show it, but I'm happy with the final top 10. Particularly talking about Italy, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. I'm already excited for the next edition. Originally I was going to sit out again, but guess I can't fo that now lol.

A nice edition in Cyprus has come to an end and clearly the first thing I should do is thank everyone for the votes and especially Austria and Italy for their . A 9th place is clearly a great result (tied 8th with China but this time you managed to beat me ). In general I guess it was a rather predictable TOP 2, based on the popularity of the songs. I don't know which one of the 2 between Germany and Canada I personally prefer; on the one hand I feel like the Canadian entry as a song is better but then again I don't particularly find Celine's version as good as the versions of other artists who've covered the song. Nevertheless congratulations to both for the spectacular results. Also congratulations to Switzerland for the 3rd place. Very glad for some countries but also quite disappointed at how others did (mostly , and ) but better luck next time, I suppose. See you next edition!

Feels good to have a series of decent results. Thanks for 11th, and thanks to South Korea for your . Also, Laurinda, the name and artist in the Philippines page of the wiki are switched. The artist is Fanny and the song is "Charity Ball."

I'm quite disappointed in the result of my entry, because I thought it will do better (like top10), but I guess this generation doesn't enjoy the song as much as older generations do, so that's probably where the result comes from... Thank's to those, who gave some points I guess next time I'm gonna have to try something newer than 80's... Congratulations to the winner! Though I have to be honest with you - you've already proved, that Germany has great music industry and those popular songs can still get wins (5/9 wins you have with world hits). That's all great, but I'd be happier to see Germany winning with something not so well known, like those other 4 wins you had. No offence, but does it give you any satisfaction to win with something you know is gonna win? Yes, they don't win EVERY time, but you know what I mean... Even most of your podiums come from popular songs/artists... You have so much to offer, but you seem to stick to what's surely gonna do well... I would like to see you show us more of the german music industry, something you haven't shown, something you'd find a risky choice... Don't get me wrong - from time to time it's ok to use something better known, but imo not as much as you do... Most of the artists you've used most of us know... I mean surely that's not everything that's good in german music industry... there's gotta be some hidden gems, which you could find... I hope you'll consider it No hard feelings, but there's just no more excitement to see Germany win with yet another well known song... I think I'm not the only one who feels that way...

I guess it's Germany vs. Canada for the victory. For myself I'd be satisfied with a place in the first half Exactly what happened Congratulations to them and to Switzerland for their 3rd place I'm happy with the 10th place, thanks to the voters The scoreboard was so close around there, you could easily climb or fall down much with 1 or 2 votes more/less, so I feel lucky to stay in Top 10 are both quite underrated Also I'd mention in that list. Glad finished Top 10, thought it'd do a bit better even, prefer it to their latest winner song Looking forward to the next edition

I hope you'll consider it No hard feelings, but there's just no more excitement to see Germany win with yet another well known song... I think I'm not the only one who feels that way... I don't think this is a fair comment considering this is the first "world hit" that has won for Germany since #46... which was 36 editions ago. Neither the Helene Fischer song nor the ones from Krypteria were known outside of the DACH countries and Krypteria aren't even very known in Germany. Most of my entries are clearly not world hits and (unless you consider Eisblumen, Ode an die Freude, Einsamer Hirte, Sonne, Something About Us, Ey Dj, Too Young, Mambo Mambo (I could go on) world hits?). I participate in this contest to share and spread songs that I like and I grew up with many of them, I won't change that just because you'd prefer to see different songs, sorry. I'm not here to prove anything or boast about Germany's "great music industry", like you seem to think I am, I'm here to celebrate music I like and I won't apologize for that. I don't think most people knew the majority of my entries. I agree that most people probably knew What Is Love but I doubt all of them knew the songs I listed above and even if they did, so what? Clearly most people don't have an issue with my entries, otherwise they wouldn't vote them I also find it interesting how you berate me for ~half of my wins coming from world hits when my last three victories before this edition were not very known songs, while countries like have almost exclusively won with popular songs. I don't remember you complaining when the UK or the USA got great results with artists like the Spice Girls, Bonnie Tyler, Geri Halliwell, Robbie Williams, George Michael, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Linkin Park, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and so on
