Hmm all i can find is that both of the singers are from Germany Sarah born in Cologne and Pietro in München. Can you find me a link to see their connection to Italy? Is it really needed? I mean they sing in Italian and both have Italian names.
I have an Italian name myself, that doesn't mean that I'm Italian.
I can translate the link, it is said that Pietro Basile was born in Calabria and therefore has Italian citizenship but that he is currently living in Munich.

Yea, but I meant the combination btw. singing in Italian and having Italian names but I understand, this is not 100% proof that they are Italians

You also have Swiss artists who speak Italian as their mother tongue but have no close connection with Italy, or people from regions near Italy who speak Italian or local Italian dialects (Corsican for example).
I always check because there are sometimes very big surprises. Like a singer I found in a small local Neapolitan label, who sang in Neapolitan (not even standard Italian) with absolutely no noticeable foreign accent and who appeared to be 100% German.
