NEW CALEDONIA ANNOUNCES OUR ARTIST!Nouméa, 25 Juin - Iseul Choe, as the head of delegation, confirmed the Caledonian participation in the twenty-fourth edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest which will be held in South Korea.
An artist has been selected to wave the flag of New Caledonia in South Korea, and we are ready to introduce them to everyone.
Mickaël Pouvin
Born in Réunion, Mickaël Pouvin was raised for a time in New Caledonia. Pouvin was a contestant on the second season of the Voice France, where he was eliminated in the battles. He has been releasing songs on and off since 2014, but in 2019, he released his first album, Éternel, to the world. There are 6 songs on that album that will compete to be the next Caledonian entry in the third installment of Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à, under the title Nouvelle-Calédonie à Mickaël Pouvin. ~ NEW CALEDONIA IN OWN ASIAVISION SONG CONTEST ~
The Special Collectivity of New Caledonia debuted in the twenty-first edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest held in Sana'a with Caledonian Marcus Gad and Tamal, finishing last in the semifinal with 34 points. In the edition following, the broadcaster held the first ever edition of Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à, which was won by Linda Terii with Tamahine O Te Moana. Linda finished 14th in the semifinal with 54 points. A second edition of Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à was held for the 23rd edition. The national final was won by Patricia Ségui and her song Le Voleur. Patricia brought the island nation so close to the final, finishing 11th in the semi with 54 points, missing out on the final by a single point.

Taiwanese entry reveal Taipei, 25 June 2020 - Today, TTV has revealed and presented via a special press conference the Taiwanese entry for Own Asiavision 24, which was internally selected by the broadcaster. Out of over 100 received submissions from both established singers and newcomers, the jury committee appointed by the broadcaster selected the final entry over 2 rounds: The first to shortlist 10 entries, and the second to select the winning entry. - colombo. After an amazing edition, SLBC can confirm the sri lankan participation in the Own Asiavision Song Contest 24. Last time, Vydia Vox and Arjun placed 2nd in the grand final, scoring the second best placement for Sri Lanka. This time SLBC will choose again internally, in the recent days there were a lot of submissions and the broadcaster will choose between them.
