Tajik entry reveal! After a few weeks of silence, Televizioni Tojikiston is pleased to reveal the Tajik representative for the upcoming edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest, to be held in Taiwan. Originally, a national selection was hinted by the delegation, although today he confirmed this would not be happening:Simply put, one singer came forward with a slapper and we just couldn't refuse. That singer is of course our queen Zulaykho Mahmadshoeva, otherwise known as just Zulaykho. Miss Zulaykho is no stranger to the contest, as she represented Tajikistan in the 12th edition with her song Zuzu. 13 editions on, she's making her return to represent the country in the grand final, and oh did she bring a bop along with her. Take a listen to our song below:"Foida Nadorad"important: the song in the video starts at 1:32 since some stan I guess decided to interview her.Timeslot: 2:39- (could change) And a huge thanks to the Yemeni HoD for suggesting this song. We fell in love with it once they suggested it to us!Best of luck to Zulaykho in Taiwan! And you can of course stream our entry on Spotify here since it doesn't want to show up on the post xx

Bahrain to "Change" in Taiwan!البحرين إلى "التغيير" لتايوان On 5 January 2021, BRTC announced the country's obvious intention to participate in the semifinals of Own Asiavision Song Contest #25, to be held in Taiwan. An internal selection was the chosen method the delegation announced that day. A month has passed by and we can now reveal the entry we selected for Bahrain. Richie Krisak and Rakan will perform Change Timeslot: 1:46-2:11 History of Bahrain in Own Asiavision Song Contest
The small Gulf country debuted in the fourteenth edition, hosted in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, and was welcomed with a dead last placement in its semifinal, brought by Ala Ghawas and his Veteran, followed by another non-qualification in Palestine. The country then returned in #17 and achieved its first qualification, thanks to Ahllam and her bop Nafas. Ahllam would later return under Bahrain's current, at the time new, delegation, in Laos, and achieve the country's second and last qualification to date, with her Persian banger Sheytoon. Unfortunately the country hasn't been able to qualify since then, with the most successful result being a 13th place in its semifinal in #21. Last edition, Assala managed to qualify from the Quarter Final, but scored a 14th place in her semi, luckily escaping this edition's QF. Bahrain's first collaboration was selected in #25 with Richie Krisak and Rakan hoping to achieve the country's first qualification since #20.
