I was sure this would happen to Romania after the rehearsals and it's so disappointing and emotional that we keep this non-qualification streak. I still had very little bit of hope that such an emotional song and powerful message would stand out. However, this semifinal was already like a grand final and despite Roxen's performance being so fragile and genuine, it obviously got lost between all the diva bangers. "Amnesia" became a very personal song to me, but sadly other participants' vocals made a difference for sure. I am proud of Roxen, despite this disappointing result. She brought emotions, she was confident and she managed to deliver her best performance out of all her attempts in this Eurovision journey. It was not an easy song to be performed and there were a lot of things going on on stage. Every experience has ups and downs, and most importantly is that the song was for every shout that went unheard. I am surprised by Croatia's non-qualification, that I would have switched with Norway or Belgium (even if I love this one, I was not convinced by the performance). My personal prediction was that Slovenia and Croatia would have qualified instead of Norway and Belgium, so I got 8/10 correct. This ESC is now less exciting for me, because of course when your country doesn't qualify it's not the same "adrenalina" as when it's in the final, but now I am rooting for Moldova, Serbia, Albania, San Marino and Finland in the second semifinal .

I'm quite disappointed but not surprised with our elimination. I'm proud Lesley represented our country and she did the absolute best she could. I loved her performance and would've definitely been a qualifier for me. I'm more disappointed with our broadcaster and their approach to esc. It's kinda tiring every year to feel that your country is already out before the contest begins and I'm not impressed with the job they're doing. I should never say this but I doubt we will shine again anytime soon - at least not with how things are going now. I'm not blaming miss Lesley at all, but I'm just disappointed as an Irish fan to see my country bombing in recent years. anyway, onto the rest of the show: this was always gonna qualify let's face it. solid for what it is. she can definitely sing but I felt bored during the performance. queen, her song really grew on me. No surprises there x I love Tusse. However I'm not impressed honestly and I would say in this semi it's undeserved, but I knew it would get through - the juries eat this up all the time 💋 the tape looked gorgeous and we stan montaigne. However I knew this would nq for sure. sorry but this was so boring. queen slappah she ate on stage, no surprises there the part where he took the glasses off I must say was very touching. However I still really dislike the song, even moreso after this whole thing with efendi.. sad we'll have to continue seeing it this week. I thought this was going to sail through. Definitely the most robbed song this evening, she deserved a spot in the final. I like the song but this performance was boring for me honestly. Not surprised though, the juries probably helped it. I'm glad for Eden, not Israel necessarily. I love her song but it will never top feker libi for me 💋 I feel so sorry for her, I did see this failing unfortunately but it's undeserved. Roxen is such a sweetheart. I can tolerate the song and the performance was impressive. Shame Efendi doesn't really have a stage presence though.. flawless. I knew this would qualify, amazing performance. nothing else to say. and nothing much to say here - an absolute queen, she looked gorgeous and those vocals.. yas. I hope she goes far on Saturday.

Well... That was a show. Was it just me or did this show pass extremely quickly? The show started, I blinked and suddenly Russia was performing. I'm just partially shocked by the results. Both me and my boyfriend got 8/10. I predicted Australia and Romania instead of Azerbaijan and Belgium, whereas my boyfriend predicted pretty much the same as me, instead he swapped Romania with Ireland. I'm also dissapointed that Croatia didn't qualify. If it depended on me, I would've swapped Belgium, Azerbaijan and Sweden with Romania, Croatia and Australia. Also, come on Netherlands! You had 2 years to prepare a great show, but it seems a bit lackluster as for now. The awkward pause before Irish performance, really fast pace of the show overall.. and the hosts... I think we would've been much better with only Edsilia and Nikki as hosts. Both Jan and Chantal were completely bland and almost non-existent. Hopefully, that'll change in the second Semi.

- Good, called it. - Not bad, I've heard better from them. - Love it so much!!! - Expected. - Did not think this would go through, but good effort. - Obvious neighbors is obvious. - Just realized it broke a record, though I will take Feker Libi over this any day. - Welcome back. Now don't cheat in the final. - I liked it. Then again, it's only my opinion. - POLITICS POLITICS POLITICS. Why does the EBU want a peaceful proposition again? - Seriously, what the fuck!!! This, in my opinion, had the best chance at winning, and then THAT. Hey PLEASE DON'T FUCK IT UP ON THURSDAY!!!! - First time ever, no final, huh? How is that not devestating? - I have to be honest, this song did not blow me away at all. Another fail. - Average song, great performance. How dare you, Europe? - Bye bye - Bye bye

Wow, I was surprised by these results. I can't lie that I really haven't been watching the rehearsals and I have been firmly outside the Eurovision bubble this year. Firstly, I am so surprised that and made it through. I thought Azerbaijan was very reputative and predictable, it felt like 90% of the song was her saying random famous women's name for the sake of saying them. I enjoyed Set Me Free, but I thought the current geopolitical situation and the irony of the song title would cause them to plummet. I also thought was robbed, fully deserved to be in the final and I thought it brought a different flavour to the semi. other than that: I found really dull which was surprising as I really liked the NF performance but this felt empty and pedestrian Never gonna make it at number two but I thought the performance was very powerful. I love it so much, the folky chorus part gave me chills. It was amazingly chaotic and I wouldn't be shocked if it got top 10 in the final. I really like this song but I thought this performance was poor, the vocals sounded frankly awful and I was anticipating but a shock NQ. Again I like the song but there was just a bit of a disconnect and I wasn't surprised it didn't make the cut Dull until the final 10 secs. Should have made it. The performance was really good and the song was decent. It's a real shame this flopped Wow, this was so good. I love el diablo. Having said that I do prefer the studio cut. I still think this will easily be top 10 on sat. I don't really care for it. Not in my personal qualifiers but I don't care that it made it either. Robbed, fully deserved to be in the final and I thought it brought a different flavour to the semi. I can't believe got more points than this. This was really great, and was everything Sennek (2018) should have been. I was worried it wasn't immediate enough but I very pleased it got through. I was so shocked this made. I do like Set Me Free, but I thought the current geopolitical situation and the irony of the song title would cause them to plummet, not thrilled it made to be honest This was meh to me, I like the studio cut but on stage I just couldn't understand anything she was saying and it lost a tad of its power if I'm honest. Very reputative and predictable, it felt like 90% of the song was her saying random famous women's name for the sake of saying them, should of NQed. I am not a fan at all. I wouldn't have had it qualify but it was always going to. This stole the show imo, the vocals were not as good as normal (I don't blame the artists but I assume its covid related circumstances) but this was the only performance I thought elevated from the studio cut. I think she must have won the semi and I can see her possible snatching the trophy come Saturday.

What does this have to do with Manizha and Eurovision? I honestly don't know. I actually like the song but it's not great by any means (of course, my opinion).
Now about the pipeline thing. This was MAJOR news in my country about a week ago, so much so that you weren't aware of it. Again, nothing to do with Eurovision at all. I told you that I didn't mean to interrupt the fun.

If any Russian entry was against these sorts of things it would be this one.
