WE ✈️ NATIVE
Despite having plans to send another diaspora singer, due to the automatic qualification privilege and saving up funds for future editions we decided to explore the local music scene to find a decent song. We don't have high expectations, but will surely bring some hot African beats and have some party on the stage. Presenting you the bottom 3 worthy entry and so far the best fully native song that we've found:
Eazzy and Stonebwoy with their dancehall banger "Emergency".

Unfortunately, Sierra Leone will withdraw from this edition. To those who want them, here you go. I might confirm with a different country, but I'm most likely not competing for now.

SENEGALESE ENTRY
After confirming our participation in the next Own Africavision Song Contest and our automatic qualification for the next edition, STDS finally decided we are sending one of our youngest acts in the senegalese music that was robbed in NNMC.
Diarra Sylla
Diarra Sylla is a Senegalese-French singer, dancer and model. She is best known for winning first place in the 2016 Sen P'tit Gallé competition. She is part of the global pop group Now United, representing Senegal and Africa, however, she is away from the group's activities to invest in her solo career. Sylla was born in Paris, France, but later moved to Dakar, Senegal where she grew up. Sylla speaks 3 languages fluently, French, Wolof and English; She also speaks Turkish , but not fluently.
She will be singing "Hewale" along with Mélanie Thomas, a song in both English and Wolof.
