Northern and Central America is a combination between two North subregion of the Mainland Americas or might be known as North America as well. Northern America consisted of one of the biggest and most developed countries in the world while Central America is a part of the Mesoamerican biodiversity hotspot, which extends from northern Guatemala to central Panama. This northern side of the main continent was greatly combined by both traditional culture and European influences. And for the second edition, the Treasure Hunters will go to search for the music of this beautiful region!

Rules
- Songs from ABU Song Festival, Afrivision Song Contest, Eurovision Song Contest, OTI Festival and Turkvision Song Contest are not allowed to take part.
- Entries must be selected internally.
- The singer should be from or have strong connection with the country.
- A band or a collaboration can represent the country if at least 1/4 of members is from the country. However, for an area from divided country, at least 1 member is allowed, as long as, the member has a strong connection with the aforementioned area.
- Songs can be any length and language, and released after 2010.
- Singers must be at least 16 years old to compete.
- Revamps and remixes are allowed as long as the original singer is featured.
- Covers are allowed as long as they are official singles of the singer. However, covers of popular songs are not allowed.
- Songs that were in final of NVSC, FC or Own Contests placed in top 5 of WWWSC or NNMC will be rejected. For this edition, all songs from OUSC are all ineligible to participate - as well as United States’, Canadian and Mexican entries in OAmSC.
- Songs have to not be sent in more than 3 Forum contests or 2 Forum contests if both contests are mentioned in the Rules No. 9.

Borrowing rules
To decrease disadvantages of music industry as much as possible, several areas are allowed to borrow from specific part of their main country.

Special rules for the U.S. regions
As 
United States has undeniably one of if not the biggest music industry in the world, to equalize the chance of every particating areas as much as possible, the U.S. regions are not allowed to send singers who are from / related to the biggest state of each region. However, the singer may be still accepted if they are also related to other states of that region.
(For example, a singer from
California such as 
Bishop Briggs will not be allowed for Pacific West U.S. but 
flagcalfornia Anna Graceman will still be accepted as she is also related to Alaska which is also a part of Pacific West U.S.)
