Well, this didn't go well In all seriousness though, I didn't exactly expect it to. The song is just too "Greek" so I thought it wouldn't be appreciated. In any case thanks to the few people that supported it! My has won it! I was not sure about giving it when I was deciding my votes (as this was a good edition and I had more than 10 songs that I wanted to vote for) but seeing how this helped them win, I can say I'm actually really glad that I gave them something. It was an exciting voting and I'm personally happy with its outcome; it's also very nice to see a country winning for the first time! Also happy to see in the TOP 10, while was robbed... See you next edition!

So... Firstly... OMG I ACTUALLY WON! After starting almost 20 editions ago with the last place I didn't thought that I would win soon, but it seems I was mistaken Actually, I almost screwed myself, giving 8 points to Japan) Big thank you to every one who voted for Russia! Also congratulations to and for placing in top 3) Talking about underrated entries, I think that for this time they are going to be , and . Talking about host city, I decided to choose... Samara! Why this city? Because there is one music festival held near Samara - Grushinsky festival, one of the biggest and definitely the most well-known bard song festival in Russia, founded in 1968. Many legends of Soviet bard song movement, such as Yuri Vizbor and Bulat Okudzhava participated in it. Plus, I was there during 2018 World Cup, watching a match between Russia and Uruguay) And about unofficial RWWWSC trophy: Even if isn't very happy with their 19th place finish, they still have some reason to celebrate - awarded them unofficial RWWWSC trophy, which is 7th for United States! Updated winners list: 8 trophies - (26, 30, 72, 74, 93, 96, 105, 107) 7 trophies - (13, 16, 43, 52, 62, 80, 109), (11, 67, 81, 85, 99, 102, 112), (1, 14, 35, 37, 100, 110, 117) 6 trophies - (39, 53, 55, 57, 84, 87), (8, 24, 60, 63, 70, 111) 5 trophies - (7, 10, 42, 46, 61), (17, 47, 56, 58, 86), (36, 41, 45, 68, 95) 4 trophies - (4, 9, 19, 44), (28, 38, 73, 97), (23, 83, 90, 101) 3 trophies - (3, 33, 49), (20, 32, 59), (2, 66, 82), (65, 71, 92), (104, 108, 113) , (21, 91, 114), (76, 88, 115)2 trophies - (15, 18), (29, 31), (69, 79), (22, 89), (40, 106) 1 trophy - (5), (6), (12), (25), (27), (34), (48), (50), (51), (54), (64), (75), (77), (78), (94), (98), (103), (116)

The results turned out largely surprising this time. First of all, I would like to congratulate Russia for winning the edition. Moreover, I would like to express my happiness about the good results of Germany, Latvia (I was very close to voting for it), Malta, and Indonesia - the latter three placing in top 10 was also something I did not anticipate. On the other hand, I consider Canada criminally underrated - this was probably one of the most famous entries of the edition - in fact, I wasn't sure whether I should give my maximum points to it, but in the end I couldn't resist, the song is genuinely brilliant. Turkey also had a very unfair result in my opinion - Mogollar is recommended for anyone interested in folk rock/psychedelic rock, the band truly does wonders in their music. With regards to my own representative, I was happy starting with high points and staying on the left side for some time, but then my expectations kept falling for obvious reasons. Still, I would like to thank everyone supporting Azerbaijani entry, and especially Germany and Russia for top3 points Thanks to Jasna for a good hosting. See you in Russia next edition.

Thank you very much for 4th place , which is kind of a revenge for Olga (who was the one that kept the worst result of this contest for over 60 editions previously). I'm glad to see some people enjoyed this song (by giving ( ) or ( , , ) or at least liked it enough to give any points at all (thank's to the other 9 countries). Congratulations to Russia on their win. I'm gonna be honest - didn't see that one coming, although I really didn't expect any of the top3 to finish in top3, so they all surprised me in that regard. But congratz to all of them Overall it was an enjoyable edition, so let's see what the next one brings us
