Belgium K3 - "Lollypopland"I have to say it was quite difficult to find a suiting song to the Ukrainian painting, since I couldn't find a single song that talks about watermelons or bees , so I decided to go for the K3 song "Lollypopland". K3 is a very popular girl band in Flanders and the Netherlands and their music specifically targets children. They were formed in 1999 and I grew up listening to their music (keyword of the painting: "childhood"). "Lollypopland" talks about the dream of a little girl to be thenqueen of Lollypopland, a fictional country where lollies grow on the trees (key word of the painting: "sweet") and in which all your dreams can come true. 臺灣 TAIWAN 齊豫【飛鳥與魚】 Chyi Yu - 'Fish & Bird' (1997) Timeslot: 2.27+
Relevant keywords: birds, nature, life. This poetic piece contains the themes of life, which can be cruel and innately unfair; its lyrics depict the wonders of nature: "Azure sky, and blue sea, Made it tough for you and me. Sky, earth, seasons, day and night; Sea melted into the sky,", and its beautiful contradictions: "How can a spring flower learn about autumn fruit? And how can a flying bird fall In love with a fish in water?" and tells the tragic sorrows of life through the affairs of the bird and the fish. I know with the serene Austria painting I should go with a more calmer and peace-inducing entry, but this is the one that I think is perfect for this special edition. So beautifully produced. Good luck everyone!

UNITED STATES My painting I was drawn a masterpiece of Canadian art history, The Jack Pine by Tom Thomson (1916-1917). The apparent simplicity of this northern Ontario landscape, where the absolute protagonist, the pine tree, blends with the colorful background characterized by the horizontal stripes representing a early evening sky, showcases the true beauty that only a few artists can achieve without going too much into the details. The perfect song for this painting, for which I'd like to thank Tom for having posted it, is: My entry: The Trees They Do Grow High by Joan Baez TIMESLOT: TBA Song & Artist information Joan Chandos Baez is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and activist. Her contemporary folk music often includes songs of protest and social justice. Baez has performed publicly for over 60 years, releasing over 30 albums. Fluent in Spanish and English, she has also recorded songs in at least six other languages. She began her recording career in 1960 and achieved immediate success. She is considered one of the major representatives of 1960s American folk music, and is currently 81. The song was recorded in 1961 and is inspired by a popular British Folk Song known by many titles, including "The Trees They Do Grow High", "Daily Growing", "Long A-Growing" and "Lady Mary Ann". We wish best of luck to all the participants and to them!

Vitaliy Kozlovskiy - Chernobrivtsy Віталій Козловський - Чорнобривці (2008) 2.07 -> 2.32
To be honest, as soon as I looked at this picture, I immediately thought about this song. No other song can convey a more touching connection between mother and son. The lyrics of this song are associated with memories of childhood,
of mother and of the house in which childhood passed. Chernobrivtsy - is the name of a flower that mother grew in her garden
and which remind her son of that place and time.This is a very famous Ukrainian song and almost every pop artist has it in their repertoire.
It has become a classic performed by Dmitro Gnatiyk, and among modern artists it sounds good performed by Vitaliy Kozlovskiy.
For the first time he sang "Chernobrivtsy" in the finale of the talent show "Chance" in 2008 and in which he won.

The deadline has passed already a while ago (for submissions). I'm just waiting for the respective post by the host - that normally follows immediately though?

The submission deadline has passed a couple of days ago! I am waiting for all the entries because it would be quite uncool that some paintings wouldn't appear in the Special Edition. I'll continue on with the things I have to make for the edition (pictures, running order, recap) and will wait for the remaining 2 entries.
I'd also like to call myself out, as a player sent an entry at the very beginning of the submissions and I didn't (properly and fast enough) check that it has already been sent. So already for that I should wait a bit.
Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience.

The NetherlandsOk first of all. I'm so sorry for being this late! I thought I'd simply missed the deadline... If I'm still allowed to enter I'll send the song "Tulpen uit Amsterdam" by Annie Palmen. Some of you might know her from one of the early Dutch Eurovision entries. One of my keywords was flowers and as you might have guessed the title means Tulips from Amsterdam. The song has been covered very often but I wanted to go for one of the old versions Timeslot: 0:40+
