Lol people are attending all those Eurovision pre-events while I'm not even living close to a place where one's being hosted.

Throwback time! Upon watching Belarus 2015's performance, this moment caught my eyes. Koit Toome, take notes. This is how you look at a camera without being cringeworthy.

Just came across a research conducted by Clara Guibourg, who is a data journalist in BBC News, on the musical positivity of the Eurovision Song Contest entries. According to the findings of the research, Eurovision entries are getting gloomier. The research has also found out that Eastern European countries tended to send happier songs compared to their counterparts in the rest of Europe. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan is considered an ESC participant with the saddest songs, followed by Slovenia and Slovakia. According to the research, happiness is defined by the musical positivity measure entitled valence, which is based on songs' key, harmony and beats, and ignores the lyrics. Moreover, the data below demonstrates the average tempo of all the Eurovision entries, by country. The research covers the timeframe of 2006-2018. For more information, you can click on the following link even though I pretty much copied most of the findings: www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-43975088
