Eurovision without Albania??? ? Albania will most likely participate. It just hasnt been confirmed since Eurovision was never mentioned in the information released about this years edition of Festivali i Kenges. Possible withdrawals 1.Albania : The call for songs of the Festivali i Këngës 50 did not mention the Eurovision Song Contest, making it unclear if Albania will participate in 2012. 2.Armenia : Participation remains uncertain as the security of an Armenian delegation has not yet been guaranteed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). 3.Portugal : Portugal may not be able to participate due to the possible privatization of the national broadcaster – Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP). It remains uncertain if the rights to broadcast the contest will be transferred to the future privatized channel. All of this is already in the first post.  |

I liked Netherlands this year (2011). It's weird... the only two songs which didn't make the final that I really liked were Poland and Netherlands but both finished last in their respective semifinal.

They would need strong security for the Armenian delegation if they decide to participate. I hope they take part in the contest and do well. If they were announced the winners in Baku... I wonder what would happen. |
