I don't know much about the other contests, but I don't think that it became an overused song already. NVSC, OESC, WWWSC... And the others I forget  Well I only take part in FSC and WWWSC, so I can't know each winners for each contests here. I usually hear the overused songs from other players. If all the FabPlayers help me and warn me about a song getting overused, I can take care of it and add that song to banned-songs list, if necessary. |

I think everyone should be allowed to send songs he/she likes, whether it participated in a lot of contests or not. It should be an own decision to vote for that kind of songs or not for the other players. Normally I don't really mind about songs if they've been used often or not - I'll just vote for the songs which I like the most.  Yes, but if you see a song in many contests you get bored. Even more if you see it WINNING every contest. (*cough*  PreG omesh *cough*  Karuzela *cough*  )Songs like  PreGomesh and  What You've Done To Me are exceptions for me. But I wouldn't give less points to  Dernière Danse just because it entered some more contests. It's still a nice song for me.  |

I was in a few more contests before but because of over usage it declined and now I only do FSC and WWWSC. Maybe later I might join more. Of course people can choose whatever song they like but you do get those few that ALWAYS choose the overused songs just for a cheap win. I remember sending 'Amaranth' first but even people who never listened to a metal song in their life decided to send it and they win ... but I guess 'Derniere Danse' is the most recent one and considering it's not on the list I shouldn't complain really (btw, it's a nice song  . Guess you can't control everything. I think because I've managed FSC before I do get a little passionate about the overuse thing. Again, I didn't mean to cause a stir and I'm sorry for the little outburst earlier . |

I agree to SanBeanzie somehow. IMO contests are meant for discovering something new, not just listening to the same music over and over. Why not put some effort and try to find something more interesting than a hit used million times before? :/ It's just a disgrace to other players.

Any news coming ? I was just gonna write something now. Dear FabPlayers. I was supposed to upload the recap video yesterday. But too bad I'm not feeling good right now. I'm really ill since yesterday (I have a cold) and I'm really not in the right mood to work on the recap. I even missed the school today and had a rest. Hopefully the recap will be ready in only a few days. I collected all the songs and pictures before. Only thing I'll do is to make the video. Thanks for your patience and understanding. |
