    Denmark has finally found their winner of the national selection, Danish Music Contest. From the tournament, Stine Bramsen with her song "Prototypical"
took the longest straw and just barely defeated Volbeat
and their song "Still Counting" just with 10 points more.

 El Salvador confirms it's debut this edition with
Cáthia!
Cáthia was born in The Bronx, borough of New York City, New York, to parents who are El Salvadorian natives. She attended high school at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, in New York City's Manhattan borough, where she learned opera. She competed in an Apollo Theater Amateur Night advancing to the semi-finals. Cáthia's inspiration to make music was from her mother who created her own business which fueled Cáthia's interest of singing.
