Learn more about the Northvision Song Contest #9 Stage!
The stage in the Telenor Arena was completed just a few days ago before the delegations' arrival in the capital city of Norway.
Some of the artists already had the chance to rehearse on it, but only today the NBU revealed the stage in its full shape.
The "honeycomb" theme has been kept in both the stage and in the LED screens behind. The empty space between every hexagon is filled by a neon that can adapt itself to the main colour of the stage.
12 HD Cameras will provide the live footages from the arena. Even though the cameras are less than for the last edition, the NRK team has studied the best spots for them in order to give every performance its special feature.
During the postcards, for a faster transition between the performances, the lighted hexagon round the main performance area will be lifted about four meters high so that the teams and the delegations can prepare to perform live, everything in just about 35 seconds!
