News Thread For Turkey

There is one song that will get points from your Turkic friend Turkmenistan. 

Turkey has a HUGE music industry and has amazing artists out there. So when you say that Turkey has terrible songs, you are wrong, maybe some people won't like them, but there are people who do! I love your entry this edition and last edition too. But, if you think Turkey is a bit under-appreciated, then you should look at some other countries. The Netherlands has qualified only twice since #1. So has Slovakia, Austria and many others. You have qualified 3 times and hopefully it'll be 4 this time. 

Many of your recent entries are very good, however they failed in the semi final. But, things could turn bad for me, for example. Lucky debut, but from then there may not be as much luck as before, and I think this will happen in many upcoming editions. But you know what? I enjoy searching for Turkmen music very much, because I feel that the country is underused in song contests, and it's great searching for music from their culture, and listening to the Turkmen language. This edition, I'm 57th in the betting odds, and more than likely I'm going to fail in the semi final (predicted, two days left) but you know what? I'm not very sad about it, because this edition has been very fun for me, in finding a love/hate Turkmen song, the tour, the sneak peaks, the concert.

My point, mainly is that you have fun with Turkey, and do keep in mind that there is a huge musical industry. While some songs will not fair well, others will and that's the fun about it. All that considering, you are not the worst country in IMF, also take that into mind. I guess some people have different tastes then others. But you're doing well with Turkish music, believe me.
