My final review for all the songs:  Malta - Nice and cute performance but that's all. Quite undeserved qualifier for me.  Israel - I never liked the song itself but she did a perfect performance... this really had to go to final, Israel is robbed for the second time in a row...  Norway - I was a little disappointed because he lacked emotion for me, but this is a legitimate qualifier.  Georgia - Very original song, not bad live, but... it just wasn't made enough for ESC.  Poland - YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS <3333333 I SCREAMED WHEN I HEARD THEIR NAME !!!! FINALLY they broke the curse  Amazing performance for a fab song, good luck in the final !  Austria - "The queen of the night", really. Would have been a crime if she didn't go through. (And homosexuality has nothing to do here  )  Lithuania - Good performance but the song was just awful, sorry   Finland - So happy for them too They did a great show, and we have some more young people in the final now, which is great !  Ireland - Not sad for it tbh. The song itself grew on me but it was really bland on stage. "The Kate Ryan of 2014" as someone said.  Belarus - Undeserved, because the staging didn't match the song and he really lacked passion I thought. Still nice to see him qualify though, but there was better.  FYR Macedonia - She was great, dynamic, the song was very catchy... a really unfair elimination  .  Switzerland - I knew he would pass  Very happy for him, such a cheerful song he gave us ^^  Greece - A little arrogant performance with the trampoline, but it's a great hip-hop track and I still love it. Deserved qualifier.  Slovenia - All these girls were magnificient Glad to see something ethnic in the final too.  Romania - Messy performance, and I'm still not a fan of their song, but they had to qualify somehow... OVERALL: AMAZING RESULTS ! I'd just switch Malta and Belarus with Israel and Macedonia and then it's perfect !  |

All that matters for me was that Poland qualified!!  That's pretty much all I have to say.. Wait there's more "Same Heart" did a  "Crisalide" 1) Did very well in the OGAE results 2) 2nd position 3) Beautiful language is not the way through qualifying

I was speechless after the Autrian performance. I think that a poor number placing was Israel's downfall. If Slovenia and Israel switched spots, Israel would be in. Just my opinion. But, I am happy that Slovenia is in the final. I like 8/10 of the countries. No Malta or Switzerland.

Well, well, well ... an even more AMAZING set of results!! All my faves passed! ^^ Happy, Happy Happy!! ^^ My thoughts on the songs: MALTA - Really, really enjoyed it!! They deserved to be in the finals. Reckon they'll be a dark horse. Singer is cute too ^^ ISRAEL - It's a shame she gave a great performance. Love the voice!! Should've been through. NORWAY - A serious contender to win I think. Such a STRONG performance. So, so stunning!! Love it!! Glad to see this pass. GEORGIA - I'm like the only person that actually likes it and I'm gutted that it didn't pass. I love her voice and seeing Rylan Clark on a parachute was most entertaining!!. Should've passed but I didn't expect it to. POLAND - They were AMAZING!! For me, the most entertaining performance of the night!! So badass and Cleo was great!! ^^ AUSTRIA - Bless her, she was so relieved when her country was announced. For me, the BEST vocal performance of the night. Well Deserved. A potential Top 10 here. LITHUANIA - A load of bollocks. Ugly outfit. FINLAND - Find it annoying but it was worthy of being in the finals compared to some others. IRELAND - My biggest drop of the night. Such a crappy performance and she looked terrible. The drummer/violinist looked better. Not surprised it didn't pass actually. BELARUS - The biggest surprise of the night I LOVED that performance. Such fancy footwork!! GLAD it passed and deserved to!! Top 5 for me!! EXCELLENT!! ^^. MACEDONIA - Such a messy performance I wasn't surprised it didn't pass. The dancer was creepy. Loved the earrings though . SWITZERLAND - He could reach the Top 10 I think now. Strong performance and I can see the audience really adoring it. Fab, FAB performance!! Of course, the MOST AMAZING song in this final. So, so HAPPY to see this through. The most happiest, feel good song of the year!! ^^. GREECE - Didn't do much for me personally. Sounded kinda messy at first but it got progressively better. The trampoline was funny. Not for me but this was one for the public. SLOVENIA - I was convinced this wouldn't pass but I'm THRILLED it did!! One of my faves this year!! ^^. A nice performance to accompany it. ROMANIA - Never has been my cup of tea but they were decent live. The round piano was pretty amazing too. Wonder if it works. |
