I was shocked when Russia was on there was soo much booing... poor  France,  San Marino... I am happy with  Hungary 's results... though I wished we could break our best record.. (4th place in 1994) I am happy for  Austria. |

ESCToday revealed that Austria won the Second SF with 169 points !EDIT: Too early for ESCToday… It's Eurovision.tv actually :x |

It's 6 in the morning here and we're currently checked-in a hotel then my father turned on the TV to CNN where Jonathan Mann is announcing the headlines: Nigeria's kidnapped school girls, controversial Eastern Ukraine voting for independence *and I was about to cover myself-to-face in blanket* then CONCHITA WURST IS THIS YEAR'S WINNER OF THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST.., *wakes up furiously and feels very proud and wants to scream and congratulate Conchita and all Austrians* Then... My dad: Is that American Idol? Me:  (but of course I didn't do that) No, it's a song contest in Europe. My dad: So the Filipino candidate didn't win? Me: another No, just European countries are battling out there.
Anyway, congratulations Conchita for an amazing and well-deserved win. Viva Österreich! And of course congratulations to all my Austrian friends here: Christian AT, @garameaning and ferrygraf.   |
