Let's just hope that  Armenia,  Azerbaijan,  Belarus,  Estonia,  Georgia,  Latvia,  Lithuania,  Moldova &  Ukraine doesnt join  I wouldn't mind if  Azerbaijan would join to be honest.  Then they could cheat in that wannabe contest.  |

I just read an article (in latvian), that  Russia quits Eurovision and will make their own similar contest called "Intervision" ("интервидение" or "интервизия" could be called in russian). But probably it's just a rumor |

I just read an article (in latvian), that Russia quits Eurovision and will make their own similar contest called "Intervision" ("интервидение" or "интервизия" could be called in russian). But probably it's just a rumor I was thinking about the same.  |

SO NOW: OMG I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I'M SO ANGRY!
TRT already chose its entrant for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Again, it was an unknown artist (male). You can look at esctoday.com. TRT confirmed its participation, a meeting was hold by TRT. And then suddenly everything changed - TRT withdrew for the reason that they don't agree with the jury system. Why? Why did they confirm after a meeting and then suddenly changed their decision?
TRT chose its entrant in 2013! Then they received a call by Erdogan (you all know who he is). Erdogan said that we shouldn't participate at Eurovision. And TRT have to accept that. Then we withdrew with the reason that we don't agree with the jury rules - why we participated then since the jury rules were introduced in 2008?
I got these information from a member of TRT - he was in the meeting himself and heared everything! He also showed TRT the trends on Twitter etc.
So one thing is sure: We won't participate until Erdogan will go away.
