Agree with u But ESC(Semi Final-final) > Friends Well, almost all my friends watch ESC so it's not a big problem for me You're lucky, I don't have any friend who cares about eurovision or at least watches it

I remember in 2013 I went to a camp with my school and I lost the semis - I'll never regret my decision And btw this isn't even the actual contest, it's just a NF... Friends > NFs I agree about the NFs but Franck talked about the ESC final and no party (except a eurovision party lol) could make me missing it Also: Friends = ~ 365 days a year, Eurovision = 3 days a year I was actually refering to the national selections (Melodifestivalen etc). If I took the example of the Grand Final, it's only to show how I would do. After, it would be very untypical to have a party and Eurovision at the same night, I assume. Sorry if I sounded sanctimonious.

I wouldn't prefer any NF (except the german one) over my friends, but as the ESC takes place only once a year, it is okay imo to prefer it over your friends in that week. It would be pretty egoistic if my friends didn't accept this but they all know that the ESC is important for me

As for me, me and my best friends are people who stay inside. Like, we don't go out on nights to places and such. And we all live a bit far from each other so I can't go out to them. So at school mostly. And after Eurovision semi finals I usually talk to them about it so it's fine Although when I watch Eurovision grand final I watch it with my family. And maybe if Ireland debuts in JESC I'll persuade my family to watch that too

I would feel bad refusing an invitation, even more for a TV show that I'm the only to watch at home actually
