I find this year weaker than 2014. Yes, I agree. Fewer songs I can really get behind, too many ballads which will make it more boring and less of a spectacle (I mean last year had Rise Like A Phoenix, Not Alone, Dancing In The Rain all having great buildups and crescendos), and there were also more fun songs that were never going to do well but provided a lot of entertainment as well (Cheesecake, No Prejudice, We Are Slavic, Rise Up, Tick-Tock, Miracle, Moustache , Hunter Of Stars) and there were the more serious and slow songs to balance everything (Undo, Start A Fire, Moj Svijet, Silent Storm, Children Of The Universe, Maybe, Calm After The Storm, Running) and even the random songs that can't really be defined (Round And Round, Miracle, Is It Right, Shine, La Mia Citta, Something Better, Coming Home, Cliche Love Song). And that's just from the finale alone. This year has a lot more slow songs (which is a lot less fun in a show that's renowned for being SOO over the top, which is partly why I watch in the first place), so it's gonna be a lot more boring if the performances aren't fun. Even GREECE sent a pretty boring song. Plus, this year seems to be one of the most English-filled I've seen. Literally 6 countries don't have English in it, half of which are in the Big 5, and I'm pretty sure Portugal and Finland aren't qualifying, and I haven't heard Montenegro's song yet. Even Serbia is singing in English, after Željko said that it's like a "tradition" that they sing in Serbian every year. I'm just not looking as forward to this year as much as the past few. At least Conchita is in the green room, so she's still gonna be on my TV screen I fully agree. I couldn't have written it better. Last year there were around 20 songs (only the finalists) which I liked and about 7 which failed. All in all an impressive number. This year I have no opinion about many songs yet but I definitely don't expect to like 15 of the finalists.

OMG!
At the Serbian song there is apparently someone from the UK - 5:24 And why the hell isn't it just possible to put Switzerland and Russia in the same semi?

Wow that took a while. I've just noticed that I can vote for Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Poland and Sweden. Btw. Latvia will flop again. Since 2012 they've always been drawn in the same semi as was and both "usually" flopped.

the ESC channel used the live performance for Lithuania, meanwhiles Latvia got their studio version in the background. Does this mean Lithuania has yet to send a studio version of the song to them?
