Ein Lied FΓΌr Deutschland #2: 10 Acts to participate at the second edition First details about the upcoming national selection are known: Not 4, but 10 artists will compete. It will include one artist which is known in Germany, while the other 9 are totally unknown. The venue will be again the Lanxess Arena. Who is hosting the selection is still unknown. The songs are expected to be announced closely after the Grand Final starts. |

CONCHITA WURST to perform at the national selection The recent winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Conchita Wurst from Austria, was invited to perform at the german national selection for the North Vision Song Contest. Today Conchita's management answered that Conchita will perform at the selection. In Germany, Conchita Wurst is very popular , especially among the german North Vision fans. "I can't wait to perform on this beautiful stage in Cologne!" , Conchita said.

the selection will be held again at the Lanxess Arena! |

Schedule change for Bundesivison Northvision #8 is over. NDR would like to congratulate  Norway and the HoD Vaios for the amazing and deserved victory. The song is already peaking at the Top 15 i-Tunes charts. The radio voting will close in the next minutes. The polls will stay open so you can't see the results, I note the current votes down. The national selection will start on Monday, the 9th June. There will be a poll deciding when on Monday. |

Hamburg,Germany -
More than 10.000 people came to watch the first Semifinal live at the Spielbudenplatz located in Hamburg, Germany. When Germany was announced as a qualifier, the whole crowd was freaking out. Germany is back at the final! Qualifying last with Lena in the fourth edition, Germany marked it's 4th final. Lots of overwhelming reactions from Germany, but also from other countries reached Sydney. A very emotional moment was the meeting of Cher and Sydney on stage after the results. They celebrated together.
NDR: "We are proud of bringing Germany back to the grand final. We've done a lot in our selection procedure and the result is the qualification. We are proud of Sydney, too. She has done an amazing job. Now we will celebrate the qualification, and then watch the second Semifinal and see which countries Sydney will have to "battle" against in the final."
Some songs stormed the German i-Tunes Charts. The danish song "Resjer Gennem Tiden" reached #1 again, Cher Lloyd marks a 3rd place at the i-Tunes charts at the moment.
Also non-finalists such as  Malta,  Andorra and  Monaco went into the charts. |

New application platform is being set up The NDR is making a new platform where artists can send in their songs. The only thing they have to do is giving their artists name, the state they're coming from and the YouTube video of their submitted song. All accepted songs will be seen at the platform. How they will come into the actual Bundesvision has not been decided yet. |

Bundesvision #10 will take place on the 7th August! In 8 days, on Thursday, 7th August, the show in Hannover will take place. As Sydney won for Niedersachsen, they will host the show. The rehearsal schedule is now in work, and tomorrow the first tests will start! |

Bundesvision #11 Final set
NDR is planning early already. In order to give the best national selection Germany has yet given, and one of the best ever, NDR is doing everything to make it fabulous. There are already artists being in talk with NDR, being Madeline Juno, Ivy Quainoo and Mia Diekow. If you have any song suggestions, you can send them to the HoD. The national selection for the eleventh edition will take place on the 19th of October, being a Sunday respectively. NDR has already received 60 songs. However, in the end only the best 16 will get accepted by a professional jury. |

Bundesvision 11 - More things are known
As of the victory of Mollyhaus, the next edition will be held in Berlin. Today, the NDR has revealed more plans about the up-coming national selection, held on the 19th of October.
The venue is the O2 World Berlin. For the national selection up to 13,000 people can attend the selection. Also polish people are being expected at the selection because the polish border is close to Berlin.
