 ย ย  ย ย Denmark withdraws from IMF?Although nothing has been reported regarding the participation of the country, it has been rumored that the broadcaster has cancelled the plans for the possible national selection and the country's participation is in doubt. Following the country's non-qualification in the 12th edition, DR reported that the interest is no longer as high as in the first editions. The head of delegation reportedly said:
"We can clearly see that according the TV rates, IMF is not as popular in Denmark as in the first editions. Maybe it's partly our fault for not hosting a national selection like we do for the NVSC.ย Also, the country's results in the contest makes the heads of the broadcaster have doubts about our participation.ย There are still some talks about having the runner-up of the DMGP participating in IMF but it's still not decided."
A decision and the official announcement is expected after the semi-final results.

 Stรถรฐ 2 is also thinking about their participation in the contest.
This is due to the loss of interest in  Iceland.
the HoD gave this comment for the time being;
"Due to loss of funds and interest here in , we are thinking about a participation at IMF #14. If we were to withdraw then 's HoD would look for a new country.
If we continued then a small NS would occur"
A descision will be made after the Semi final results.
