Hera on the Red Carpet!
Q1: The atmosphere here is truly awesome! You can feel the friendship among the already arrived fans and it's so warm! I feel like home, really, the organization, the city, everything is just stunning! Q2: Of course I am and it will be the biggest performance ever for me. Söngvakeppnin, despite the hype in Iceland about it, is just a very very small part compared to the Northvision Song Contest. I'm really looking forward to it, but at the same time I feel scared as I know the expectations in my home country are very high and I'll give my best in order to make a great performance and I hope to be liked by everyone. I practice every day since the Northvision in Concert so that my vocals are ready and fresh for the event. Q3: I really like all the songs, I can find elements from every country in these and it's the best thing about this contest and also the thing I like the most about the music here. May the best win and I wish good luck everybody! BQ: Yes, a NRK staff member toured us around the arena and all the delegations tested microphones and audio stuff. I didn't see much of the stage itself as we didn't really get in the main hall, but I just love the backstage and green rooms and from what I've seen there, I guess we're going to have a lot of fun among all the other contestants! Everything is so well put up together and I must say a big big congratulations message to the whole team behind this amazing work!

Nadia Gattas on the red carpetQ1: It's so amazing, I didn't really await to have such a great time here. NRK did a great job, everything is so perfectly done. I'm so excited to be experiencing this. Q2: Of course I'm excited. I want to enjoy all the shows, including the second semi-final even though I'm not participating. We started rehearsing the staging for the semi-final performance since the results of DMGP were revealed. We didn't have as much time as the other countries but I hope we can get the best results possible in the show. However, I always have that feeling that I'm not gonna end up doing well. I had that in DMGP but it was gone once I performed so I guess it will be the same with North Vision. I'm so much looking forward to it. Q3: Oh god, this is the hardest question you would've asked. I have been watching the contest since the fourth edition, where Denmark won and I've noticed that every edition had truly amazing songs. But I have to admit this edition has not the best songs compared to past editions but that doesn't mean it doesn't have great songs. There are a lot songs I like, including Sweden, Germany, Iceland, Slovenia and of course the United Kingdom. I think the United Kingdom will do great but I'm not sure who will win. The contest is unpredictable as always. BQ: It was great, even though we had some problems during the rehearsal with the microphones. I hope it won't happen in the contest . The arena looks so amazing and NRK did a great job adjusting the stage for our performance, and of course for each performance.

Nikolina Kovač on the Red CarpetQ1: Oslo is a beautiful city, I'm really enjoying here. Everyone is really nice. The contest is about to start and everybody is very exciting, so do I. I shall return here once for sure.
Q2: Of course I am! Me and my team have been working very hard to improve my performance.. it's something what I'm proud of. Hopefully you'll like it, actually I'm sure you will.
Q3: I've listened to all songs, and I might say it will be a though competition this year. There are so many great songs. I have few favorites, I'll mention only two of them, the host country-Norway, I really liked Alida's song, it's so so catchy.. and Serbia, I wish all the best to Marina!
BQ: The first rehearsal was.. omg.. I can't describe it.. It was wonderful!! The stage, arena.. everything.. is fabulous. I'm very glad how we did the first rehearsal, we are expecting more in followings! All compliments to the hosts, they did an amazing job!

SILVER LAAS -Traffic-Q1: It's a fairytale atmosphere, I have never experienced such an amazing thing. The NRK team did an awesome job - there's nothing pretentious, everyone is so friendly and lovely. For me, the fact that I feel like home shows how hard everyone worked for our comfort. It's just ... overwhelming. Q2: Is someone not excited about this ? I don't think so *laughs*. Of course I am and I can't wait my semfinal. We have a lot of pressure, as the last 2 editions, Estonia scored 2 bad rercords *15th place in SF (#7) and least points - 59 (#8)*. It's like everyone expects from us to make it and score one of the best results. I know how Grete felt in the 5th edition. It will be indeed the biggest scene ever and for us it's a big step - from Pärena's 9.000 to Telenor's 20.000, Anyways, we will take everything as it is and we are looking forward to give you the best show, performance nad who knows - place *laughs*. Q3: We were announced as the Estonian singers with 1 day before the deadline, so only after it we could start listening some songs, but still, we had to disscus about everything and our time for this was really shortened. Jenni from Finland is here for the 2nd time and she kinda helps us, as she also helped Grete. She sang us a bit of her song and she has wonderful vocals. Also, I really like the Austrian song. BQ: Our delegation got Sketchup and a sketch of the stage, we played abit with it and we've also seen it in real. It's ... impressive, spectacular, big. Stig told me something like: "hey, we will really sing here or they are playing with us ?". WE are shocked about it, but we will surely tame the stage.

Luina on the red carpet! Q1: Oh, it's extremely good. Ever since we've got here I've felt more alive than ever. It's great being here, and of course, I've already started making friends with some of the artists. Plus all the fans are just crazy about everything!
Q2: Yes, absolutely! I've been looking forward to performing for a while now! But this is going to be totally different from anything I've done before. I've never performed in front of this many people, plus all the people watching at home! My team has spent days and nights working on the tiniest details to make the show look as good as possible, and I can't wait to show it to everyone.
Q3: I don't even know, haha. I personally like the Turkish and Ukrainian songs very much, I'd say they're my favourites, but almost all are so good. I also like Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany (laughs) I could go on listing all the countries because they're all so great.
BQ: The rehearsal went as planned, with no real issues anywhere. Now of course my performance is not yet fully done, there's still lots more to work on, so I can promise many surprises in it.

Axel Tony & Tunisiano on the Red Carpet!
Q1. Axel: To be honest, this is the first time that we're in Norway, for both of us, and the atmosphere is amazing. Everything is well prepared. We're both exited for being here.
Q2. Axel: Of course we are. If you aren't exited, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you. *both Axel & Tunisiano gives out a little laugh*
*microphone goes to Tunisiano*
Tunisiano: Eitherways, we have been training really long for this moment, and we are ready to do our best in there.
Q3. Axel: I can say that i really love the songs from Moldova, Algeria, Romania & Switzerland. Tough, I think United Kingdom and Ukraine got winning chances.
Tunisiano: To bad i am the only rapper here. *hehe* About the songs, I especially adore the song from Portugal. I also find Turkey & Ukraine really catchy. I also think the host country, Norway got some chances for winning, together with Russia & one of my favorites, Ukraine!
BQ. Axel: The Arena is HUUUGE. We both have never been in a big arena as this one before. It's freaking amazing. I love the background, the lightning, the stage is also great. Needless to day, NRK did an amazing job! I can't wait for the second semi final to start.

Sydney Eggleston is on the red carpet! Q1: "I have never been to Norway yet, but my first impression is really good! The people here are very friendly. They all are excited for the show. On the street, some people even recognized me and told me that my song is very fresh and cool. I have never imagined to be part of such a big thing. You know, I'm not even 18, but I can already live me dream: Being a musician!" Q2: "Of course! Since I won Bundesvision (the german national selection), we (my team and me) have worked a lot for this. I performed at radio stations and gave lots of interviews. I was sad I actually didn't have the opportunity to take part at the North Vision in Concert, but I promoted a lot though. I am really looking forward at Monday evening, when I will perform on the stage! This is so unbelieveable amazing!" Q3: "Oh my god! When I entered the arena, the hall, I was out of words. I have NEVER seen something like this. I was afraid I wouldn't sing any single word, but at the second try it went better. It's so amazing and the stage itself has so many special effects. I think that the NDR chose a perfect performance for my song. It really suits together!"

Arash, Najim & Rebecca on Red Carpet !
Q1. (Arash) It's real party time here ! When we came to the ceremony, we were mostly surprised by the huge hype here ; there were so many fans clapping and taking photos ! (I even heard some people speaking Swedish.) It's just impossible to feel any stress, with all the warmness everywhere. A pleasure ! I wish we could stay there for longer.
Q2. (Najim) Of course we are. NVSC means a lot for a lot of people, and it's a very big role to represent your country: you are carrying the hopes of tons of people. I personnally watched the three last editions of NVSC on TV, when I was in France. It's always a lot of excitement, because there are always so many surprises everywhere. NBU has done a very good job this edition too, as always. Apart of the big event NVSC is, I'm looking forward to hear so much music from all over Europe: it's a great cultural experience as well, and I'm really glad to be part of this.
Q3. (Rebecca) I confess that I didn't take too much the time to listen to the participating songs of this edition, since we were selected lately. Anyway, I watched all the performances during the first rehearsal and I can't say that our Semi-Final, at least, is very strong. Nearly all the songs here are good, and have got their particularities. My personal favorites are Austria and Italy ; such great entries. A potential winner ? Hmmm... from the newspapers here I know that the UK is very hyped, but I don't believe in their victory to be honest: favourites never win in NVSC, it's been the case since the beginning of the contest.
BQ. (Arash) The first rehearsal was an amazing moment. The stage has a very interesting shape, and I enjoyed a lot playing our performance on it. It was amazing, I can't wait for Monday. (Najim) The arena itself is also great. The Acoustic is very good, so we could easily sing without having to shout, unlike our poor stage in Algeria. (Rebecca) Can you imagine that the stage is prepared for the next performance in only 35 seconds ! Yeah, NRK has been very efficient for that, but we have to leave the stage very quickly, and I'm actually hope not to stumble with all the stress after the performance of monday. (laughs)
