  Nessma can confirm that  Tunisia will be appearing in the 10th edition of NVSC Nessma can also state that Tunisia will continue their national selection.
Applications for participation will soon be aviable.

  Kringvarp Føroya has just confirmed that the Faroe Islands will debut in the tenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Plans for the selection methode and the singer or song have not yet been revealed. The Faroe Islands are expected to select their debut entry internally though, due to the low budget of the only Faroese broadcaster. Some artists have already shown their interest in representing the country at the contest that has even been popular in the Faroe Islands without them being a participant. nvscdaily.com interviewed the small country's most popular singer Eivør Pálsdóttir about her thoughts on the Song Contest: " I am really happy that my home islands can finally participate
and be represented at such a big event! I am not yet planning
to participate, as I need to concentrate on my career which is
pretty successful at the moment. I wish the one who will represent
the Faroe Islands the best of luck and a good finish, whoever it is.
*laughs* Maybe I will try in the future with a new song. We'll see..."  The Faroe Islands are the latest country to debut since the eighth edition, when both African countries, Tunisia and Algeria, made their debut in the North Vision Song Contest. |

  IBA confirms the Israeli participation at NVSC #10 Moreover IBA planned to organize a national selection if they will not be in PQR. If they will be in PQR the selection will be made internally to avoid the lost investitions for organizing the national show , so we wish good luck for the artists that are representng Israel in  NVSC #9 . More details about the entry selection will come after the results of the ninth edition . Because the government plan to close IBA in March 2015 and IBA should stop broadcasting NVSC till January 2015 . Israel wants to open a new national Broadcasting Authority which must take part at NBU . If the NBU agrees the aderation of the new National Broadcaster they will participate further ,if not they will withdraw , which we hope not cause the Israeli public is really fascinated about the North Vision Phenomeno ! |
