[!]  Breaking news! [!]After a short meeting with the Head of Deligation of TVE, it has been decided that Spain will be withdrawing from the  10th edition on. Tom Hernández, HoD of TVE, told in a press conference: "We feel sorry for every single Spanish NVSC fan, but we felt called to protest against the worthless idea of the Pre-Qualify Round. We don't want to waste nice entries which could have a possibility to get eliminated in the Pre-Qualify Round. We hope more countries will follow our idea and therefore the Pre-Qualify Round will be deleted from the contest." It has been later reported that it's sure Spain will return in the  11th edition, because there won't be any possibility of participating in the Pre-Qualify Round in that case. I don't know if I'll follow the  North Vision Song Contest that much if the 10th edition is happening... anyway I won't withdraw as player - just as country for only 1 edition. Have a lot of fun in the upcoming edition!

Why are you afraid pre qualification round?  Me  and Jessica  did the national selection and failed in PQR  . But Greece was in pre qualification and in final results - top 5! You are making a mistake by refusing to participate. This is my opinion. |

Why are you afraid pre qualification round? Me  and Jessica  did the national selection and failed in PQR . But Greece was in pre qualification and in final results - top 5! You are making a mistake by refusing to participate. This is my opinion. It's more meant as protest against the Pre-Qualify Round then being really afraid.  In my opinion it shouldn't matter how big the semi finals would be and I think it should be able for every participating country to compete in the semi finals - no matter which result you got in the previous edition. I also withdrew in the  second edition when I'd  Italy because I was against the Big 3 in the  first edition. |

It is because Nick is still the actual HOD officially until #11 when he will receive a strike for not confirming. It is allowed to withdraw for three editions without stating anything (without losing your country) because you might break your computer or whatever. Nick only didn't vote twice (Semi Final and Final of #7). In #11 he would get his third strike and Macedonia would be forced to withdraw again. The new HOD can have the country from #12 on according to the official reglement I thought you received a strike for failing to say anything about confirmation. In NVSC 2 I gave a strike to Jasmin for that with Serbia and also NVSC 3 Monaco. For example, one would be fine if they just say "Country will not be in NVSC due to lack of interest". Also, I believe that if the user is active, they can stay withdrawn for how many editions they wish. With Eurovision, it'll be like Luxembourg. |
