 Japan Information It has been decided that, to mark a milestone, the first edition
of the North Vision Song Contest to air live in Japan will be #10!
This will include:
โโBroadcasting the Grand finals of prior NVSC editions in the lead up to the 10th editionโโ
โโOnline polls on the broadcaster websiteโโ
โโThe possibility of sending one person to commentate and maybe interview contestantsโโ
Other ideas are still being developed with
more information to come so stay tuned!
Would it also be possible to change Japan's broadcaster from NACB, which isn't a TV network in Japan, to NHK, the main public broadcaster? Dimitris

NHK NEWS
Due to an low number of people visiting the Japanese NVSC website, NHK decided to only broadcast the final at a delay so it would coincide at a better time.
A poll is being held on the Japanese NVSC website where the Japanese public can select their "winner".
The results will be released shortly after the results of NVSC are announced.
NHK hopes to start small and build up NVSC and make it a bigger event in Japan.
Further news regarding airing of future editions will be announced closer to NVSC 11. |

NHK has officially released the full results of the poll on their website.
A total of 59,558 people voted in the poll to pick their favourite song.
NHK is very happy with the viewing figures and will definitely broadcast both SFs in future NVSC editions.
The poll results:

NHK is pleased to announce the results of Japan's poll for the NVSC 11 Finale.The results were very close, with many songs only being separated by 0.1%. Russia 8.3% Denmark 7.8% Lithuania 7.6%
