I'd like to suggest the "picture theme" again (every participant gets a picture chosen by the admins and has to send a song that fits to the picture; ofc including an explanation why he/she associates the certain song with the photo) We've had it in WWWSC meanwhile and it worked very well  Alternatively maybe just songs from one continent: for example only songs from Latin+Southern America are allowed  If you consider the 60+ idea, then I'll throw in the "youngsters theme" (only singers that are maximum 20 years old)  The pictures theme are a nice idea too. I ofc already thought of it, I hesitated because it was chosen in WWWSC (  ) but if it's popular, I think I'll include it in the poll Maybe we should make an "ages theme" mixing the two options you've proposed Song from one continent is a good idea, although I'd rather go for forbiding songs from Europe, North America and Australia. That would guarantee original countries So far, Matt and me saved 3 options. We'll talk about all your propositions with Matt and we'll see which ones we keep @ Pictures: I wouldn't mind to see it again  @ continent: Yes ofc, if you take it, I would either go for Asia, Africa or Southern America (which are maybe not that popular in most contests), otherwise it wouldn't be special at all  Thanks for considering these ideas |
