I like it, but only if songs can only participate for their own country. In some editions, more songs per country can be good. Or maybe, we have to think outside the country-style contest. If they could only have songs that were from their own country, that could seriously limit songs from some countries. i.e. Czech Rep, Slovakia, Montenegro etc ?

I actually really like the idea but I'm wondering if I would take part... Since December 2013 I'm not joining new contests anymore because it was too hard to vote everywhere on time and actually still it is, now even if I'm half a year further. I understand your problem, I'm experiencing it too (12 contests for me at this moment... ). If you won't take part, no problem, good luck in your other contests! (But of course, I hope you will take part )

A few contest ideas:
-Only 0 points entries allowed -With some prior voting system -Only singers or songs of a certain letter -Only women/men/bands

I agree with your opinion that songs should only be able to participate for their own country. I mean, it's weird and illogical when for example Cyprus wins a contest with Conchita Wurst's "Rise Like A Phoenix"... But how do you imagine a non-country-styled contest? Songs representing the sender instead of a country, so that more songs from a country can participate

A few contest ideas: -Only 0 points entries allowed Actually a good idea, but there haven't been so many 0 points entries in the Eurovision history.-With some prior voting system How would you imagine that?-Only singers or songs of a certain letter Good idea, but some people will start complaining about whether it should be, for example, "The Common Linnets" or "Common Linnets".-Only women/men/bands Great idea, but then people will ask (for example) : are Ell&Nikki a band? Should they be permitted to participate in the men's contest, since Ell is a man?

Should they be permitted to participate in the men's contest, since Ell is a man?-Songs from a certain decade -There have been at least 36 (37 if you count France 2012, who got no televoting points) 0 points entries, so a contest with that is possible. - A voting system that was used in Eurovision before this system:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_at_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest - For the letter, reference to the official entry name on the Eurovision site. - I think of this as women & men as solo categories, and bands as a group of singers. An extra category of duets could be added to avoid those discussions.

Thank you guys so much for your opinions! I've got a few questions to you: - Any more ideas for special editions? - Any idea on the title of the contest? - The first edition will be certainly a 'normal' edition, where any country can participate with any of their songs. If anyone is interested in participating, tell me and I'll reserve a place for you!
