News from the NVSC UK team tonight is about the work of our promotions team who have made two posters. One is for promoting music in general and the other is for the next UK National Selection.
1. UK National Selection promo.
This poster has already been sent to various locations across Europe and some of the associate broadcasters, especially Argentina where extra posters have been sent for them to go up in more than just the capital Buenos Aires.
2. Music poster
This is planned to be sent to all competing NVSC nations and associated broadcasting nations.

17/02/2015: 32 Enough?
The UK NVSC team are in panic mode now with the 3 week deadline to March 9th to whether or not the 32 artists announced is enough for the National Selection.
The plan would be 4 semi-finals each consisting of 8 artists with the top 4 each going ahead to the final joining our Fellow Commonwealth of Nations Act, making the total in the final 17.

17/02/2015: Selection Completed.
An official adjudicator from the UK National Lottery can confirm that the selection process was conducted tonight with fairness and that the artists have been chosen to perform in the four semi-finals via a process of choosing a numbered 3D-star from 1 to 32 with a piece of paper inside. 24/02/2015: Rehearsal tears and artist fears?
Rehearsals are strongly underway for the third semi-final of the UK's national selection. Just finishing on stage was song #4 - Lauren Aquilina, with duo Rita Ora and Charli XCX in floods of tears, with Charli saying "she deserves to do well, what a gorgeous voice she has" and Rita saying "if this was the voice, I would have pressed the button after her first word. What a fanstastic voice she has, I'm backing her all the way".
 Rita certainly is backing her all the way as she tweeted earlier ...

11/03/2015: Perhaps it's just a rumour?
Rumours are starting to emerge across the UK that the next edition of NVSC will have no National Selection and that Battle for Britain 8 will be postponed until further notice. One rumour suggests that the BBC have been in talks with artists to represent the UK via internal selection, whilst another rumour suggests Battle for Britain 8 will return with just 10 artists competing, another rumour suggesting that the national selection will be just 5 competing artists and a fourth strong rumour suggesting that UK have already approached and signed a preliminary contract with an artist for NVSC 14.
