I'm just an observer, but I've seen that many players constantly mention money as heavily influencing their participation. Is there a currency used in which players need enough money to participate, or are the terms 'not enough funds' and 'financial constraints' just used as a reason to signal withdrawals or participation doubts?

Haha no you don't have to pay, they just want to make the contest more realistic  |

 Kazakhstan confirms!
Astana, Kazakhstan - After a lot of discussions and meetings, it has been decided that Kazakhstan will indeed be showing up again at the 11th edition of North Vision Song Contest, despite the not so good results of the last editions. This time, Kazakhstan will not be opting for an internal selection, but rather, a national selection. The details of the selection have not yet been announced, but should be expected in the coming days.

  Sweden confirms participation for #11!After long discussions, it was decided that Sweden keeps participating in the contest due to high interest within the country.
It was also announced, that Fantasifestivalen 11 would indeed be held to choose the Swedish entry.
The old format will remain for this selection's edition, having 32 entries from which 10 are going to the final.
