well, kinda predictable result for  Ukraine... and with the competition in the non-qualifying zone I bet last place is mine  but at least I'm happy for  Hungary. |

Just as I predicted - the best result for me in this semi could be 2nd chance (you probably remember my opinion about me in 2nd chance round (about not being AQ) - if not, go to the edition #30 thread)... Overally semifinal 1 was the strongest and the most predictable - I predicted 8/10 (the ones I got wrong was  &  )... As surprises for me were  Poland and  Czech Republic (but that doesn't mean that they were negative surprises for me). Anyways, I'm happy that many of my favorites qualified - good luck to them also in final!  |

Also for the second semi final.. It's quite shocking.. and unexpected  Very glad for Macedonia, and I'm happy that Morocco qualified on their debut, as they deserved it (and personally I didn't think final directly, but second chance so congratulations) Among the other qualifiers I like them all  But I'm sad that Bosnia and Herzegovina only made it to the second chance, as I like that song. And Ukraine is quite underrated. And in a way, for me, Cyprus too. I'm quite sad to see such a streak come to an end, but it was a tough round there! |

Yes, I made it! Thank you everyone who voted for Canada!
So, in semi-final 1, seven of my top 9 got through, which I was very happy about.
Malta didn't make it! I gave them eight points! :'-(
In semi-final 2 only four of my picks made it (though my top 3 did :-)
That shock when Cyprus didn't get through! The perfect record ruined!
My last place from semi-final 2 qualified. :'-(

I'm happy (and surprised) that  Finland qualified... Thank you!  Also... How it's possible that  and  didn't qualify directly to the final?! Hopefully both countries will qualify to the final in Second Chance... |

Oh yes my votes for the semis (as text so far - full votes to come after the 2nd-chance) Semi-final 1: In the first semifinal all 5 songs which made it to 2nd Chance got at least  from me. And 3 songs out of my top 10 went to the final. Malta and Chile are out! (cry) Semi-Final 2: In the 2nd semi-final 3 songs which went to the Second chance got any points from me and 4 songs qualified. And MY TOP 2 AND MY 4TH ARE OUT! Edit: In Semi 2 I find almost all qualifiers predictable (apart from Morocco). |
