Although he allows Avril Lavigne to enter for Luxembourg in OESC ? K then Luxembourg is doing bad in OESC, so why not? She doesn't have a relation to it... Well, it got in the top 10 with her once and they got in the top 5 in OESC #31

Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor?

Both countries could have used it (Unrealistically for Georgia tho) But as Ukraine first selected it (and it was allowed) there's no need to bitch around it anymore

Avril Lavigne's father is from Lorraine, a region of France from which LUX can borrow And i was saying that Georgia could have a chance to do well in a contest for once. Highest results of it i ever saw was 4th place, and it happened just once.. and yeah he is georgian-russian... He just lives in Russia, in case if you DO NOT read only english wikipedia. Anyway..

K, the German Wikipedia didn't tell me this, so thought that she hasn't any connection But it is still allowed to enter for Ukraine, so if the Georgian user isn't fast or smart enough to chose that song, it's bad luck

@franck, i think parents (or at least one of them) is a strong enough connection for a singer to represent a country. But sorry if its not too 'realistic' which makes no sense at all in all these contests imo... It gives chance to more singers to participate no matter their nationality..

It just pushes people to send famous artists instead of not really well-known local singers, which is not the aim!

The problem is that non-popular singers are not doing well...

The problem is that non-popular singers are not doing well... wat Take a look at NVSC winners: Was Chlöe known when she won? No. Was Nicole Saba known when she won? No. Was Alida known when she won? No. And in the contest are many other artists who were unknown, so that's wrong!
