Breaking News: NF Cancelled Due to budgetary problems (read: my incredible lack of time) and confusion about the voting system, the rest of Dainų Šventė has been called off. LRT apologizes to anyone who is disappointed by this development. However, thanks to the juries from Germany, Latvia, Greenland, Hungary, and Italy voting in all three semi-finals already, we can extrapolate how the voting would've gone if the show progressed. And we've done that, and can now reveal the Lithuanian entry for IMF #19. It is...  Girmantė with "Tik leisk!" She won the national final by 1 point over Gabrielius Vagelis' "Paaukoti tau." I can't begin to apologize enough for this. I'm really embarrassed that I started this and made such a big deal out of it and can't finish it. I hope you'll all understand.  |
