Lyrical Song Contest 12 introduces a new standard format for all upcoming editions!
Quarter-Finals / Semi-Finals / Grand Final Format
New countries (TBA) and non-qualifying Semi-Final countries (10) of edition 11, will be drawn into: - Quarter-Final 1 - Quarter-Final 2 Note: Disqualified countries in the Grand Final of edition 11 will replace non-qualifying Semi-Final countries in the Quarter-Final. These will be replaced by the score of the non-qualifying countries.From each Quarter-Final (TBA) TBA countries will qualify and will be randomly allocated into the Semi-Final pots. The Semi-Finals will consist of: * Grand Final countries of edition 11, except the winner, providing those countries still participate. (TBA) * Quarter-Final qualifiers (TBA) - Semi-Final 1 - Semi-Final 2 From each semi-final, TBA countries will qualify to the Grand Final. Note: Returning countries in later editions will be set back to the Quarter-Final stage. Voting ProcedureInstead of the usual, there will now be a standard new voting procedure for the Semi-Final and Grand Final. which is 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1, which was used before in edition 9 and 11 for the Grand Final. The Quarter-Final will still use 12-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, to give each country a bit more chance.

Besides, @lolzwut, you might lose participants with this format... Please change it back to just two SF's and a GF, like in #11! Thanks for letting me know, the system is out!
Though the voting procedure has been used before, and proved effective. It makes for favourites to stand out more, and gives you a longer decision time, so that will stay in place. You vote the regular ESC-style, we just convert them in both ways, and show you them both, though the 25-18-15 etc. method is the official result.

Atlantis are unsure whether to participate in the next edition, due to the poor placement of their first song and financial difficulties. Although, a full confirmation of what is happening will be announced in the next couple of hours.
