Press conferences and final draw
Welcome to the Press Conference thread for the North
Vision Song Contest 11 in Lviv, Ukraine. AFter each of the
Semi-finals, the delegations of the qualified countries
will join the conference room to answer some questions
by the press and make their draw for the final! |

 | Good evening viewers, fans and the press! My name is Oksana Marchenko and I am welcoming everyone of you to the press conference of the first Semi-final of the North Vision Song Contest 11 here in Lviv! Before we begin, let me congratulate all the countries that made it to the Final.
Each of the qualifiers now gets the chance to answer some questions and the most important thing: they get to draw their position for the Grand Final!
Are you excited? So let's start!
Our first delegation is from Austria! Congratulations Thirteen Days on your qualification!

*the Austrians join the room with a big Austrian flag*
Roman: "YES, we made it to the Grand Final! Now to win the competition."
Alex: "Oh my god, who would have expected THIS!?"
*a woman with glasses raises her hand from the mass*
Woman with glasses: "Congratulations to you and Austria for qualifying again! But how does it feel to start in the PQR with the fear of not even qualifying to the Semi-finals and now being able to win?"
Roman: "I have no idea what to say but we didn't expect this at all after competing in the Pre-Qualification round..."
*a volunteer passes them the bowl with envelopes*
*they all grab into the bowl but each one of them gets another envelope*
Oksana: "You have to agree on one envelope!"
*they agree on one envelope*

| Oksana: Our next guest is the beautiful Miriam Cani from Albania! After withdrawing from the tenth edition, Albania is back with a Final spot! Welcome! Miriam!
*Miriam joins the press room with a loud scream, everyone is scared*
*Oksana said #wtf?*
Miriam: "YAS I AM IN THE FINALS WOOOOO"
Oksana: "K so everyone knows now. Would you mind replying to some questions? Or wait, we only have time for one question per qualifier, so please be quick, tenks."
*Oksana looks around the hall and chooses a man with a beard*

Man with a beard: "Congrats Miriam, I am a Russian journsalist..."
*the security looks up*
Man with a beard: "But I am living in Ukraine since 10 years."
*the go back to normal*
Man with a beard: "How popular is the North Vision in Albania?"
Miriam: "Since we use to flop, it is not very popular for the artist, but I finally wanted to make a cut and I managed to get through!"
*Miriam is handed the bowl and she takes one envelope* |  |

| Oksana: "Let's immediately welcome the next qualifier: Maya from Lithuania!"
*Maya joins the room, she looks neutral*
Maya: "Hi."
Oksana: "Aren't you happy that you qualified?"
Maya: "'course"
Oksana: "Doesn't feel like it. Anyway, here are your qustions, do you want to choose someone?"
Maya: "No."
*Oksana rolls her eyes and looks around the room*

Some Lithuanian: "Ačiū Maya! I am from LRT and I wanted to ask you; Are you honored to be in the final or did you expect to qualify? Thanks!"
Maya: "I expected it."
Oksana: "K so here is the bowl with the envelopes and you have to choose one. It will be the position you will be starting on in the Grand Final!"
*Maya gets someone to take her an envelope out of the bowl*

Claudia: "Yes, we had a great time! We got to know each other. We are more similar than we thought! We both wear wigs!"
Black Woman: "Thanks." *cries*
*Claudia can't wait to take one of the envelopes*
