 Norway confirms participation and reveals entry
It was obvious that NRK would confirm for the next edition in the neighboring  Finland, after the second and third places in the last editions. The official Norwegian broadcaster responsible for the Norwegian entries just announced today the next hopeful representative:
BlimE This project is a joint effort of the entire NRK Super and purpose is to inspire all children in Norway to see each other and care about each other.
All children need to be seen and appreciated for who you are.
The song they will perform in Helsinki is in the Norwegian language like always and it means 'true friends':

 Important changes in Ireland from #7
In an interview to the  Croatian delegation, the Irish delegation confirmed that no one on the Irish team is looking to bring the country back to Junior North Vision Song Contest. Certainly, #6 is not the edition where the Emerald Isle will be returning. With an agreement to Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), the Irish broadcaster, it is confirmed that Ireland will return to #7 under new management in the Junior North Vision Song Contest, thus meaning that Croatia won't be returning to the contest at any point soon. An NBU member and moderator of the Junior North Vision Song Contest has approved the request from Croatian delegation to switch country. Later on, the Irish HoD agreed to this.
Entries in Irish?
It may come to the use of the Irish language in the North Vision Song Contest. If so, it'll be the first time that Irish is ever heard on any North Vision occasion. It's mainly due to promotion of the language to younger people in Ireland who don't seem to use the language unless they come from the Gaeltachtaí (Irish speaking regions). Nevertheless, TG4 may be working alongside RTÉ to help with this issue.
