Then I can't vote. Spanish was my favourite subject at school and I studied it as my Advanced-Level topic until I left high school. Ok. Your votes is Ok. I will make other ScoreWiz after voting. That means you can include my for Spanish as well. In this case my old votes will remain.

It's funny how the Frysk are always trying to find ways to tell us they're everything but not part of us. I would like to see what would happen if Friesland wouldn't be a part of us anymore. I'm sure it would start saying early or late they want to come back to us as they just can't without us. And we don't need more languages in this country. As coming from the western I can ensure these dialects only bring language delays and lots of misunderstandings. Is that what you, so-called native Frysk speakers, want to happen then? Whooa! I never told that I wanted Friesland not to be part of The Netherlands anymore. And anyway, more regocnised languages in a country do not need to cause problem. In 131 countries, more than 1 language is spoken, and that's not only 3rd world countries. It's more normal to have more languages than to have one. I think according to the wishes of the Frysk citizens I think it would be better for them to have their own country. Then they can do whatever they want. I know lots of countries have more then one national language. However I think this fits into their cultures and 2 languages in The Netherlands simply don't.

In The Netherlands the Frysk needed to get approval for their language by agressive demonstrations, while in other countries the minority languages mostly arise from historical and/or political debats.

A minority language doesn't 'arise', it simply exists. Only the legal status can be debated, and that debate was long going when there was a demonstration in 1951.

I meant with arise those languages get accepted. The right to call Frysk an official language is indeed worth a debate again.

Can you please not bother me if I'm in discussion about - what seems to be a regional topic - with one of my landmates? I'm not even discussing in my own language with one of my landmates. Please don't make a point of it again thanks.
