It's not the goodbye that hurts but the flashbacks that follow.

Artist #2 Take a Canadian, two Americans and a British girl, put them together in a girl group and you get G.R.L. Sadness struck the four-piece last year when their original line up's fifth member Simone Battle suffered in silence with her depression and sadly committed suicide. The girls will be competing in this national selection to raise awareness of helping others who are in need of people's guidance and hope to raise money for charities in the UK, Canada and USA respectfully with their teardropping comeback single "lighthouse".

Artist #4 10 editions ago back in NVSC 3 Winterthur, we selected this lady to run wild for the UK and she finished in an impressive 6th place. However, forget the past because she's back to compete in this national selection hoping to compete for the UK once again with her song masterpiece.

Artist #5 After feeling disappointed with his result in the last edition, Olly is back to try once more to fly the flag for the UK, with a little help from our big neighbours across the Atlantic. Together with Demi Lovato, they hope to go the same way as their song title - up.

Artist #6 Speaking to Miss Tah after the last edition, she said "I'm so happy with the reception of my song, especially from countries like Lebanon, it's just so overwhelming to me. Especially when we have so many problems in the world these days, coming off stage I was just tears of joy at seeing people from the UK and all over Europe dancing along and enjoying my song in Punjabi, I would love to do it all over again." Becuase of those words, the BBC NVSC UK team contacted Miss Tah to do what she said. She will be competing in this national selection with another catchy Punjabi song called "lak nu hila".

Artist #7 Flying the flag already for our country as one of the most successful boy-bands of the 21st Century, One Direction are back on home soil to compete once again to represent the United Kingdom at the North Vision Song Contest. They boys were dancing all around last time with best song ever, but this time they will be taking down to ballad mode with their single "night changes".
