-> Each edition a draw would decide which country you'd get (probably worldwide ? ) - This? You would get a country drawn by me from a certain list of countries (not including all countries of the world) and then have to search for a song. That's very good idea.  These are already some changes? No.
The thread is called 2015: A Change? - because this is the idea as told in the end of the post. This could be the future format of IMF starting already next edition. But, and that's the point, as long as the majority (not just 50%) wouldn't join this format, it won't be done.

I want IMF to stay as it is, I've chosen Norway, and I want to keep it  +1 I like Italy too much to give it away. |

Well, if it goes ahead I'll support IMF for it's change  I will miss  Iceland always but this concept is interesting imo. And I agree, the winner should keep his/her country for the next edition. |

I think many people would start losing interess in the contest and that is a good way to have only over used songs because after 2 or 3 editions people wont want to search anymore. You know what I mean? |

I totally agree with the possibility to change country in each edition: it will be a great opportunity to improve my knowledge of the music of other countries!

I'd join this concept, but as I said, I'd prefer European countries because I mostly don't like the music from African, American (except USA and Canada) Asian and Oceanian countries, so I wouldn't be happy to have a country of those continents  |
