The  Faroe Islands will be represented by...
 ...the Faroese electro-pop duo BYRTA. BYRTA is made of the singer and songwriter GuΓ°riΓ° HansdΓ³ttir and the musician Janus Rasmussen. When they met 2012, they found out that they have something in common, so they started to make music together. While GuΓ°riΓ° is also a well-established solo singer well known in  Iceland, Janus had been a member of the Icelandic/Faroese electro band "Bloodgroup". Their music is mostly inspired by 1980s pop music. A National Selection called "BYRTA for IMF" will be held. 7 songs will participate in it. In a few moments you will be able to listen to the songs and then the voting will be opened for all the other participants. [/spoiler] |
